Zippers are very sturdy and the fabric is tough and doesn't tear. Lots of padding on the belt and shoulders. I used it on a 4 day backpacking trip starting with 35 pounds of gear/food/water. It fit my bear canister sideways no problem. Pros: - Favorite feature is the Airscape back system, this is one of the main reasons i went wiith this bag. - I ended up loving the angled water bottle pockets on each side, made it very convenient to drink without stopping. - Comfortable up to 35 lbs. - Has all the adjustments you would expect for custom fit. - Large and sturdy, good fabric and zippers (it's surprising how they did not cut corners on quality for this lower-cost backpack). - Built-in rain cover is convenient, i did end up using it for very light rain. - "Sleeping bag" compartment accessible from bottom/outside divider can be removed for a larger main compartment. Cons: - No large outer mesh pocket - No access to main compartment from the back - Is not an ultra-light backpack (3.7 lbs.).
