After-Shave Balm

This is a very good aftershave moisturizer. With a pleasant aroma. Leaves facial and head skin feeling smooth and clean.

Great product; I used to have terrible issues with razor stubble. Ever since I started using this product 20 years ago….NO irritation issues! Highly recommend!

This review will be the same for the Pre Shave Oil, the Shaving Cream, and the aftershave balm, all lavender for sensitive skin as I purchased all three simultaneously and use all three together. I have always had issues with razor burn on the base of my neck as I have hairs growing at all different angles and typically do not take the time to shave with the grain at all the angles. I have used in the past brands ranging from Zihr to Gillette fusion to barbosol. I have tried aftershaves from I Colinali to Old Spice to straight rubbing alcohol. No combination I have found has worked as well as the art of shaving. I do use a brush to apply, which takes a few seconds longer than one's fingers, but those few seconds are the only drawback I've found. One thing to be mindful of is the scent. I recommend heading to your local nordstroms and smelling the different options before purchase. The sandlewood is definitely more masculine, and that will be my next purchase. This, though seemingly strong during use, does not have a strong odor within 5min and within the hour, is as unscented and the unscented version. I will be purchasing again.

I usually get Truefitt and Hill for 65 but they didn't have Grafton so I opted for this instead. It's ok but I won't choose it again. I waited a few weeks to really give it a chance. It's going to last a very long time which would be great except I don't care for it so do I toss 50 or use it for half a year or whatever? It'll wind up under the sink until it's there so long I just toss it. Pros - soaks in very nicely - non irritating - works as intended - going to last a very long time so there is definitely value Cons - The smell is chemically and not Lavender so I shook it vigorously and it helped but not nearly enough. It's not actually bad but its next to your nose so it needs to at least be good. It's a deal breaker. maybe i had a bad batch or the formula changed. - It's thin and I wind up using about 5 pumps. - the pump applicator is hard to figure out exactly which direction it is pointing. You can guess how this ended up so now I have to pay attention. It's the little things that make it great or not and this unfortunately ended up as a not. These products last me a long enough time that I don't mind spending more for a near perfect product like Truefitt and HIll. Their bottles look good on the counter, smell great, apply nicely and its obvious where it's going to pump. I think 4 stars is fair because some of this should be expected for a less expensive product but if you are really price sensitive then 50 is to much when Nivea does the job for 10.

It came broken which was crappy. But I called amazon and they immediately sent out a replacement which came in perfect condition. This product is great! Also it lasts ages. Totally worth the money. The whole art of shaving shaving product line completely changes the shaving experience and takes it from something painful to something relaxing and extremely pleasant.

Expensive but husband really likes and he can travel with it
