It's quite solid and floats well, even after putting a 850g bag of rice on it. It stays firmly in position by filling the attached bag with stones which then acts as an anchor outside the pond (as per marketing photo). I think it will work well for frogs and mice but I'm not sure whether hedgehogs would be able to use it. My only criticism is that it's intended for swimming pools and is bright blue, it would be nice if they did a dark green pond version but then maybe after 12 months outside it will be dark green! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saves Frogs *by Q***H on 1 July 2019* It really works!
