Pefect replacement of the original
Perfect replacement for your lippert slide drive motor. While operating my slide it suddenly stopped moving and the drive went into a free spin mode. The drive motor was obviously working, but the slide wasn't moving. After researching possible causes I determined that the original drive uses a nylon gear to transfer power from the motor to the rack and pinion slide. This nylon gear is prone to failure due to the gear breaking at the point where the motor gear engages. A factory OEM replacement is very expensive. I removed the drive assembly, very easy to do, and disassembled the drive to find the broken gear. Ordered this gear and it replaced to original broken gear perfectly. I added some red grease, reassembled the drive assembly and put it back in. Works perfectly! The cost of repairs was just the cost of this gear and about 2 hours of my time.
