This does the job. I saw a this item is frequently returned message on it but I believe the problem is buyer thinking this is just stick tape. It’s not. You must heat this with a carpet tape iron to use it. It paper backing that’s reinforced and has glue on it. Check out some videos on the net about carpet seaming method. Look for the one with a carpet iron so you understand what you are getting. This tape works well as intended and is a decent price.

Tape does not hold! and this was used in a non traffic area. Ended up buying standard Glue carpet tape and used a home iron to seem and worked perfect. This product does not work!

This is a strong tape that we used to straighten a wrinkle/roll in a throw rug on top of our wall to wall carpet. We applied this under that area of the throw. Works beautifully, this now looks like a new carpet throw, love it! We also used it to keep corners of an older rug from curling up. Really helps with adhesion if you apply a bit of heat from an iron.
