The glass is thick and so feels quite safe to use with children as it doesn't break easily, I even stood on one by mistake and it didn't so much as crack which was great. The metal lid can be hard to open and does need some strength. The juice tastes nice, it is a decent apply juice without being anything special. There was no visible sediment at the bottom of the bottle.
