– Best Naturals Strontium Bone Building Formula 680mg/serving 90 Capsules

I've been taking one per day without ill effect. I appreciate this is not the place for a scientific debate on the effectiveness of strontium, but other reviewers have raised issues: 1. Strontium only improves DXA scores because it's a heavier element than calcium. 2. In vivo, it doesn't reduce bone loss or stimulate formation. Do I care? Not really, because strontium does the only thing that I'm interested in: it reduces the frequency of fractures. If my improved DXA is due to point 1 above, that's fine. It means the strontium is there and made my bones stronger and tougher! Still, there are, as with everything, potential side effects, so don't exaggerate the dose.

My review is not based on whether or not this product strengthens bones, as I won't be in a position to comment on that until my next DEXA scan in 4 or 5 years' time. All I can say is that it doesn't seem to cause any adverse side-effects other than that it makes my breath smell like Hell - literally - so I take them last thing at night.

Useful product and reasonable price although this has recently increased significantly.

There is a lot of dubious information in the reviews especially the one star reviews. I strongly recommend researching bone health. My one recommendation would be to read Lara Pizzorno's book Healthy Bones Healthy You with a wealth of advice and referenced research on improving bone health.

I have been using Strontium for many many years. When I turned 70ish I fell often. I never was really hurt. Strontium kept me out of the ER nd let me get up no problem. I once had x rays and that showed I had very healthy contrasts. So I owe it all to Strontium that I age without problems.

Hoping that this is a reputable product, as I'm not sure the extent to which natural health products are regulated. As long as what's on the label and what's in the capsule are consistent, then I'm good with this product. Thank you!
