My check engine light was on my granddaughters 2013 VW Jetta. we took it to the dealer to find out what it could be. The tech mentioned gas cap could cause this (it was missing) and other expensive issues they came back with. So we figured we’d order a gas cap instead of paying the dealer price of $250. The gas cap came in. I put it in, it was a perfect fit and surprisingly the check engine light went off. So, this $26 gas cap saved me a lot of money.

Fits like a glove. The broken seal was costing me money 💰 as the gas ⛽️ just evaporated in thin air.

Great quality gas cap, fits perfectly on my car, appears to be similar to the OEM cap I am replacing. Time will tell on durability, but so far so good
