I don’t know what this magic stuff is, but it works so well doesn’t irritate my dog. I can’t smell it, but he gets so calm. I used it for when we were flying and it worked so well.

Didn’t seem to work for my dog

This has been a life saver with all these spring storms! It has helped our husky stay more calm during storms. It works best if sprayed 10-15 mins before the storm.

Ok. Like many other reviews, it is alcohol based that leaves a heavy alcohol smell if you leave your windows up after you spray it. I will spray it 30 minutes before we leave, but also need to open windows and let the alcohol smell dissipate before we can actually get into the car. I have another spray that is not alcohol based that I think is better. I can't tell whether this works well or not, as my dog still has anxiety, but does seem to help to reduce it, just doesn't eliminate it. I would give this product higher stars if the alcohol base was not so heavy and strong. It is easy to use, just have to remember to spray 30 minutes or so. The bottle size seems sufficient. I'll usually use 5 pumps or so - should last a bit. No issues with packaging - came well packed and tamper resistant, no leaking.

My little girl mixed breed has a few different “fears” that make her nervous occasionally. Of course, thunder is right up there at the very top. The first year after I had rescued her I noticed thunderstorms made her hide underneath beds, furniture or anywhere that made her feel safe. I felt helpless for her and looked up information about dogs being afraid of loud sounds and found this wonderful product Thunder Ease calming spray. A few days later I experimented with it by spraying her surroundings with this odorless pheromone and it honestly worked like a miracle! She falls asleep within minutes and it doesn’t take much to help her. That was 5 years ago and I’m never without this stuff. It’s in a base which contains alcohol and that’s the only odor this stuff has. That smell rapidly evaporates but the pheromone is on her bed or my bed wherever I sprayed it. She just relaxes and goes to sleep for a few hours. It seems to work better on some dogs. I guess I got lucky and I’ll never be without it! I also take it on car trips. It’s really a lifesaver! I purchase the larger size of 60 ml. The bottle I have now is at least a year old and still works fabulously.

I hope it works for some dog owners but this has not made a bit of difference in my dogs anxiety/behavior. I tried it in hopes of calming her on car rides. She loves to ride but if tends to get really anxious if we don't go to familiar places. I've used it - just as instructed for several car rides and it's absolutely no difference. I love the "no drug" concept to help with anxiety but this just did not work for us. Since I spent the money I will use it until it's gone but so far nothing. The dog is about an 80lb German Shepherd. I will say that after an initial alcohol smell, I don't notice it. I wait the full 15 minutes before I allow her into the car.

Wow, on the first night using this spray it was amazing! After putting our pup to bed there was zero barking and whining. It’s true there is a bit of an alcohol scent but it worked like a charm! Highly recommend.

When our dog is home alone, he tends to feel anxious and sometimes chews things up. I decided to try this product to help him stay calm when he’s by himself. I honestly didn’t expect much, but it actually works! He’s much calmer and less anxious now. Highly recommend.
