Economical, easy to install, aesthetic, all-around good light fixture

The Designers Fountain lights were exactly what the doctor ordered. I needed to replace four very similar lights in the house that were damaged during painting in preparation of selling the house. The came well packaged and containing detailed instructions for installation. As others have stated, they are harder to install because of the screw holes being covered by the super itchy fiberglass insulation. I ended up removing the insulation that was between the light and the ceiling because I am using LED bulbs. It's my opinion they put the insulation there for use with traditional bulbs since they put off so much heat. Once I removed the itchy junk, they were fairly straightforward to install. There are three wires for each light in the housing. The ones I received were all dual light fixtures. I recommend twisting the wires together that match up on the light before climbing the ladder. Then you will only need to take the two wires (wall and the twisted wires) and merge them securely. The color is a nice dark Oil Rubbed Bronze and the glass is a white swirl with a decent but flush screw thing that holds the glass on. I searched at Lowe's and Home Depot and found similar products for considerably more than I paid and the products at those stores looked exactly the same as the products I ordered. If you need replacement lights that are fairly simple to hang and have basic electrical skills then you will love these ceiling lights.

This light is the best upgrade for my house. My home was built in 70's . the hallway lights are what the builder installed, keep in mind those hallway are about 50 years old. Wow...long over due for replacement, these lights go very with the age of home. Without going board, price, looks.

Worked beautifully. Easy to install. Best light I've ever had in my kitchen and laundry room. Plan to get more for my master bathroom.

I guess over the years this is at least the 12 ceiling light I have purchased of this exact model on Amazon. Even purchased a few different diamters. Why I like it so much: 1. Price - value. Really hard to beat at this price point for what you're getting. 2. The lamp cover is actually a really nice smokey glass. 3. Brightness, it will hold up to 2 light regular light bulbs. I find one bulb to be just be fine. I use LED bulbs. 4. Ease of installation. It comes with all the hardware needed. Depending on how you install it you might not require using some installatiion parts. Disclaimer, like all overhead ceiliing light installations, you need to take your time understanding it does require some patience. Now this is just my humble opinion, but I do hope it helps others in making an informed decision...

Love this light! Use all the pieces when installing it instead of trying to use the ones from the previous light. That is what they are there for. :)

Me encantaron, la relación calidad-Precio es la mejor que se puede encontrar, son fáciles de instalar, tienen un herraje de 10 centimetros que se atornilla a la caja metálica, lo único complicado es que entren los tornillos que van del plato al herraje, ya que cuenta con insulación o fibra de vidrio, estorba un poco, pero solo basta con hacerla un poco grande de los agujeros donde entrarán los tornillos, adjunto varias imágenes de los detalles para que se aprecie mejor, recomendadas 100%
