First off, know that this printer - 1)Does NOT support auto-duplex, two-sided printing 2)Does NOT support color printing 3)CAN slightly warp/curl cheaper paper depending on paper humidity content. With all that said, this printer has been rock solid since purchase. It's exactly what I expected. Setup is pretty easy (I didn't even bother with the Brother account and all that, just connected it to wifi manually) and for home and light business use it is fantastic. High quality, fast prints, and well worth every penny. No regrets here,

This printer was easy to connect and get running without much hassle. It is also very compact, which made it a good fit without taking up too much space. Print quality has been good for regular black and white printing. Nice option if you want something simple, small, and easy to use.

I have been very happy with this printer. The price was very good but the build quality is excellent. The toner cartridges are good for about 3,000 pages at 5% coverage (standards printed page). A replacement cartridge is about $20.00. The wireless setup was fast and easy and worked perfectly.

I had an older Brother printer that was 15 years old. This one is lighter but also made like most things today, more flimsy. I noticed that especially with the paper tray. It feels like one drop would shatter it. I have an older Mac and though the wired setup was easy as most reviewers mentioned. But getting the wifi setup was a pain. I followed directions and it still took several hours. I unplugged modem, printer, computer off multiple times and it would still not recognize the printer. What finally worked for me was dumping the driver and reloading. This time it automatically pulled up Bonjour and airprint which made things easier and the wi-fi works! Woo hoo! I have High Sierra (yeah, I know) so wasn't sure the wireless would connect. It prints well, and does print out of deep sleep which I didn't expect from other reviews. I hope this printer lasts as long as my old one, but since most products die faster now I would be surprised. I did not setup refresh because I don't print much and all the reviewers said it is highly annoying and full of ads. I didn't have to load any software - just the driver. I don't print from my phone so would probably have to download the app which was where folks were getting constant ads and updates. Wish it copied like my old printer but it's about 1/2 the price so you get what you pay for!

This is the best printer I've ever gotten for my home office. I was really tired of the inkjet style printers, they blow through ink so fast, it breaks the budget. The laser style cartridge is much more efficient, faster and you can print a ton of documents without worrying where the ink is going. We have this set up in the office but it's accessible from anywhere in the house via the wifi connection. It was really easy to set up and we've had no issues with it. Highly recommended.

This printer was easy to set up and connect to WiFi. It prints fast and the text looks sharp and clear. The compact size fits well on a desk. It works well for everyday printing at home. Good choice for simple black and white printing.

I had an expensive Canon Color Laser for a few years, and that thing would not stay connected to wifi or the Mac. This Brother printer, on the other hand, stays connected, and I don't think about it anymore. I hit print and guess what, a piece of paper comes out with my print. It's not color, but I don't find myself printing much stuff these days. That's why toner is better than ink, it doesn't dry out and lasts forever! The printer isn't very noisy, but I don't print much. As far as functionality goes, it's a black-and-white laser printer that connects to your Mac via Wi-Fi. What else do you need? I did not need to install any drivers; the Mac found the printer and installed the driver for me, and I was off to the races. The price is right, also, and I think not having to purchase Ink every month will more than pay for itself. If you need a basic black-and-white laser printer, get this one.

Muy buena, pero gasta mucha tinta por impresión, aunque pongas "draft" en config. Pero imprime excelente y nunca he tenido problema con conexión a mi compu / cel.
