Love this paste for my Asian cooking. I like the umami in the sauce and I want a mild profile to elevate my sauces or my soups. There’s plenty of other sauces to provide heat. I have bought several of these tubs. Good value for the price point. 5 stars

A mild Ssamjang paste that still packs a nice flavor punch.
I love making lettuce wraps for dinner but my husband has a sensitive stomach so I was on the lookout for a mild Ssamjang paste sauce. I tried this one out and I was very pleased. It has the great flavor of Ssamjang without a strong spice. My husband got to enjoy the flavor without the stomach distress. Perfect! Now he puts it on everything, rice, noodles even in soups. I will definitely buy again.
