Original iPod Compatible with Classic Video 5th Generation 30gb Black

Got it for my dads 61 birthday he loved it and all his music we put over 2 weeks worth different of music on there with room to spare as well as three movies. Would give 20 stars if i could great gift for older techy people just be sure you have the music they like before hand to go onto it

Like new condition, works great. Battery seems to have plenty of life.

The IPod worked well for about two months then…First it began being difficult to turn on. Next, it began showing a message that it needed to be disconnected from iTunes (it wasn’t even connected to iTunes). Finally, it lost all my downloaded music, and when I took the time to reload them all, the next day the same thing happened. Very frustrating to say the least. I would not recommend this particular iPod. If I could, I would give it zero stars.

These are NOT made by Apple. I notice they are now called “iPod Compatible”. There must be a ton of original components left over which people have gotten ahold of and made these. This one worked fine but the plastic front and metal back casing are made by some third party and I had to return one non-functional one before getting this one which works pretty good.

Everything was working fine up until today. Now the iPod is stuck on the "Do not disconnect device" screen and nothing I do to manually restart or reset works! I was thrilled to order another one for my mother but now I may cancel that order and return this one unless we can resolve this now!

So far so good! It powered on and synched with my iTunes without an issue. The 30-pin adapter cable that I had did not ork, but when I used the supplied cable, the iPod was recognized immediately.

This was bought for my daughter for school. The software no longer exists for this device, so we are unable to download music to it at all
