The 2.5 gpm flow is really good with this shower head. The water pressure is impressive. I installed, uninstalled, reinstalled 3 different ones, two Delta shower head and this one. One of the Deltas was an expensive one that came with the full valve kit. The other was a stand-alone shower head that was very inexpensive. The cheap Delta had the arm possitioned so high that the lowest it could get was still spraying the back of the shower. The expensive one had abysmal pressure until I removed the flow restrictors. This one needed no modification and it works great. One single flow pattern that is just what you need. Heavy, all metal construction and this is by far the best shower handheld that I have used, ever. I love the design too. Smaller size, clean look. The company video explaining the benefits was also impressive with inside quality components that you don't really think about.

I did a bath/shower remodel and used all Hammerhead products for the Handheld Shower Head, Shower Arm, Shower Valve/Trim Kit, and Tub Spout. All of the products are solid metal and superior quality. This review is for the HammerHead Solid Metal Handheld Shower Head with Hose and Brass Holder. All of the shower head components have a heavy, superior quality feel. Nothing is made of plastic. The volume of water coming from the 2.5 GPM shower head is fantastic--significantly better than my previous Delta shower head. I couldn't be happier with the quality and performance. The installation was very easy and everything I needed to connect to the main plumbing lines was provided. If I do any more plumbing projects, HammerHead products are going to be my first choice for the components I use. They are rock solid.

I've had my eyes on this shower head for awhile. I bought another brand locally for the sole reason of easy returns. Got it home and it was so plastic-y feeling that I didn't even try to install; I just returned it. Decided to bite the bullet and order two Hammerheads. After 2 weeks of the boxes sitting on my bathroom vanity, I finally screwed up the courage to install them in my double shower today. To my surprise, no tools at all were needed. All the parts are nicely wrapped in bags. All the threads were even protected with plastic caps to avoid any damage in shipping! Plumbers tape was included. Twisted off the only shower heads. I ran a little water through the pipe and cleaned off all the old tape. Then, installed the first Hammerhead Handheld Shower head according to the simple instructions. LOTS more water pressure than before. I was so happy and went after the other one. To my surprise, I noticed the pipe was almost clogged when I took the old shower head off. Had to dig out a bunch of black gunk with an old toothbrush. Ran some water to finish the clean out and install the new Hammerhead. This one had even better water pressure!!?? Decided to go back to the first one and look at that pipe more closely. Sure enough, it had a little bit of clogging too. Now, I have the best shower head pressure I've ever had. I also checked them very closely for leaks and there were none! All I did was tighten all the connections by hand. Honestly, I don't know if the unclogging of the pipe caused the better water pressure or if it's the shower head. Maybe a combination of both? However, I do like these shower heads more than any other one I've used. The shower head is bigger and lighter than I was expecting. My original concern is that a metal head would break my faux marble if I dropped the head against the shower bench. While the head is very sturdy, I don't think it's heavy enough to do damage. The connection that holds the shower head is solid, heavy metal that I seriously will break. The hose is very nice and plenty long. I saw another review that the shower handle can get hot. I can see where that could happen, but I only hold it when I'm cleaning the shower or washing the dogs with a cooler water. Happy with my purchase and will purchase another one for the other bathroom. My only complaint is that I tried a different brand first and waited so long to install. Don't be me -- buy it and install it immediately. Enjoy your very next shower.

My old shower arm was out of commission. Hammer head shower arm is solid metal, robust, and sleek. I was able to install with no issues. You only need Teflon tape on the shower arm. The rest of the fittings are compression.

Pros: As it says in the name, this model features all-metal construction (except the shower nozzles, which are silicone), and is relatively straightforward to install. Also, I was able to locate the green 2.5 waterflow restrictor and easily yank it out with a needle-nose pliers, so I can't attest to whether it performs well without it. But pressure is great, and there's a lifetime warranty! Cons: a bunch of minor design omissions kept this from earning 5 stars: 1. The water flow has no adjustments whatsoever. Granted, most cheap showerheads have way too many unnecessary and gimmicky flow variations, but I miss having a concentrated flow option. 2. There is no pause flow button which reduces the flow to a trickle while you're soaping up. (Having a trickle option rather than a shutoff also keeps the water temperature constant). This is especially curious because having this basic function probably saves more water (and hot water) than the government-mandated flow restrictor. 3. The metal handle on the showerhead is thin, smooth and round, with no indentations for your hand/fingers - that makes it slide around in your hand when you're using it to rinse off. (The fact that your hands are likely soapy makes this design omission even worse). 4. The slot/holder for the showerhead is metal and so is the showerhead, so it makes a clunky sound every time you reinsert it, and will likely scratch the finish on the showerhead handle in short order. The inside of the slot/holder should be lined with something like rubber or soft plastic. 5. While the major component parts are well-packaged and labeled, there are two containers - one a paper envelope and the other a teeny resealable bag - marked "Extra" which have a variety of rubber rings, filters, nozzles etc. which are not labeled (either in the containers or in the instructions). It's a bit ambiguous whether you're supposed to keep all of them for future use, or whether you're supposed to use some of them for the initial assembly/installation. I eventually figured it out, but it could very easily be made clearer. They could at least label each form of "extra" part in the instructions and state where in the unit they go. 6. The instructions do not make it clear how to tighten/loosen the portion of the showerhead holder that swivels. When I first installed the unit, I could not get it to stay in any position except pointing down. I eventually figured that out as well. It's not like the manual is written in broken English - it's otherwise very clear.

Works Great!!! We had the worst water pressure with our old shower head, this shower head is absolutely amazing! Great water pressure, like streams of little water massagers, rinses hair wonderfully. Worth the money!

I have used this handheld shower head for over 3 years now and had zero issues with it. This is the best shower head you can buy. Durable and high quality materials for life long usage.

It is value but the handle is to behanged on a holder,it is not comfortable,a connector to the shower pipe is required then fantastic item .

I couldn't be more pleased with this product! This is the third showerhead that we've had to purchase since moving into our current residence 7 years ago. That may not sound like a terrible lot with how common planned obsolescence is these days, but we're kind of sick of it. We visited all the usual suspects looking for a completely metal handheld shower head. We even agreed to pay substantially more than we had in the past, if we had to, but no one even carried any! If we wanted an entirely metal unit from anyone we'd have to get a much more involved system than something we only had to screw in to the pre-existing plumbing. We rent and weren't really looking for the hastle. We were looking for something built to last, easy to install, and easily removable. Special bonus points if it didn't have to break our bank! I finally decided to cave and look online, since clearly I wasn't going to be enjoying a shower with my fancy new shower head that day. Success! This item popped up, and the reviews were promising. I looked up the company, and was impressed. Then I saw the price! This cost less than the chromed plastic pieces at all the stores! I decided to go ahead and order it, thinking I would get a second to replace our other washroom's incredibly basic showerhead if it was a success. Now, I'm afraid I've been evangelized. I'm seriously concerned that I may become one of *those* people, you know- the ones who love something so much they buy it in bulk and gift one to everyone? It's not lightweight like a plastic unit, but it's not heavy either. When holding it, it feels smooth, yet substantial, and the warm water heats the metal as it flows through it, which is kind of uniquely pleasant. The water flow feels like being caught in a warm, heavy summer rain, which I'm kind of in love with. As for cons, you could nit pick a few things. The handle doesn't screw in to be flush with the hose, nor does the hose screw in to be flush with the metal fixture that you screw into the shower's existing pipe. That being said the shower fixture itself, as well as the metal hose are both extremely well made and nothing leaks or drips anywhere. This piece is not a luxury item but well machined, and of exceptional quality. Basic and built to last. I love it, and hopefully, you will too.

Product is overpriced. It does not come with Shower head arm holder due to this it cannot replace the shower head you need to fix it on wall.. Product description and pics are not of the product you will get

10/10 customer service. The showerhead I received was defective and something was rattling around inside. I reached out to support and they responded right away and sent me a replacement with minimal hassle. The replacement one had no issues at all. The construction was all metal, and very sturdy. The water pressure improved significantly compared to my previous plastic showerhead which was crumbling apart and had reached the end of it's useful life. I got the chrome plating which looks very nice with a mirror finish, but it's a little slippery to hold when it's wet, so if I bought it again I would probably get the matte or brushed finish for a little more texture.
