It works perfectly, just remember to go in to menu and change the audio from auto to manual. ### ⭐ Does not work *by M***. on 2 July 2020* I have tried everything to get this to work. So after a lot more research it appears the micro USB needs to be a 10 pin version and have a resistor inside the plug which the go-pro senses and switches to the external mic. I can only guess this cable does not have that and therefore does not work. Very disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Robust and does what it says. *by C***S on 4 August 2018* Good quality, and used with my chinese GoPro type camera to get a microphone working for much better quality audio with a rode mobile mice.
