Huge Capacity and Excellent Quality Stockpot
As an avid home chef, I'm always looking for high-quality cookware that can handle large batch cooking. This 12 quart stockpot from Cook N Home definitely fits the bill! I've been really impressed by its performance. The size is absolutely massive with a 12 quart capacity. I've used it for big batches of soups, stews, stocks, boiling pasta, and more. It's big enough to can tomatoes or make huge vats of sauce. Yet the overall stockpot is still a manageable size and weight when full. The stainless steel construction feels extremely sturdy and durable. It has an attractive high polished mirror finish. I also really like the thick aluminum disc layered in the bottom which provides excellent heat conduction and prevents hot spots. The pot heats up quickly and evenly thanks to the tri-ply stainless/aluminum/stainless body. It works great on all cooking surfaces including induction cooktops. I've even used it in the oven without issues since it's oven safe. The snug-fitting vented glass lid is a nice bonus to lock in heat and moisture. The loop handles are designed to stay cool which is helpful when pulling the heavy pot on and off the stovetop. I still use potholders out of habit. My only minor complaint is the pot itself can get a bit heavy when full of liquid or food. But that's to be expected for a stockpot this size. Cleaning is easy - foods don't stick too badly and a little Bar Keeper's Friend keeps the exterior shiny. It's also dishwasher safe which is convenient for such a large pot. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this Cook N Home stockpot! The quality, size and performance are excellent for the price. If you need a big, sturdy stockpot for larger quantity cooking, I highly recommend giving this one a look.

Surprising quality
I just received this pot to replace a decades old pot that finally gave up. One of the reasons I purchased this pot was based on previous reviews that praised it’s quality for the price. I have to agree, this pot seems well crafted. Tight riveting, quality vented glass lid. I like that this top fits into the pot rather then over the pot like most other pans. This pot is slightly narrower and slightly taller then my original pot (both 5 qt) which is great because it is a better fit on my gas stove. The base is pretty thick. The pot has a nice heft to it giving it a feel of quality without being to heavy. The base rests well on my cast iron grates and resists sliding when carefully stirring contents, so by way of pots, the bottom isn’t slippery. Which I like. The handles are well attached. The rubber grips resist heat but don’t eliminate it. I carefully poured boiling water from pot to sink (kill the fruit flies) without using oven mitts. It was warm but certainly not like the red hot handles I was used to. Which is good, no actually it’s great! Nevertheless, I’ll continue to use oven mitts (mostly). So as to longevity, my old pot was about 20+ years old. That’s hard to beat. I’ll likely never know if this pot will last as long but first impressions are very good. Based on decades of cooking experience I highly recommend this pot. Have fun with it.

Wonderful
This is a great-size stockpot for sauce and canning season. The height is perfect—less than 10 inches tall—which is exactly what I was looking for since my microwave is a bit low. The silicone handles are a really nice touch and are heat-proof. Overall, this is a very nice pan and I’ll love having it during canning time.

Very nice
This is a great little pot. Very sturdy. Thick bottom. Heats evenly. I wish I had started using stainless years ago but was always afraid food would stick. I finally got tired of flakey no stick pans with warped bottoms and out desperation picked this up up to give it a try. It was reasonably priced and not too big of an investment if I didn't like it. I love this pot. Use it everyday. You may have to stir a little more frequently but food doesn't stick. Very easy to clean. I have had this for a good while and it still looks good. No rust. The only thing I don't like is that the silicone doesn't cover the entire handle and it slips off to the side. It slips back easily. I make sure it's in the middle where it belongs before I put it on the stove and I haven't had any problems. Once the pot heats up it seams to stay in place. I always use pot holders just in case. Would buy again.

Great Pot, Handles Need More Rubber
Review of the 20-qt. pot: Having purchased this at a very reasonable price, I was concerned that the quality would perhaps not be good. I needn't have been. This is a very sturdy, very nice pot for anyone who cooks huge amounts of food or wants a pot that will do waterbath canning nicely. It is heavy and solid, but not so heavy that it is hard to manage. That is empty. Because it is so big, once you have very much food or water in it, it will be quite heavy. Which brings up the only negative I have. The rubber part on the lid handle is too short. I've burned myself a bit by grabbing too far down on the lid and grabbing hold of the very hot metal. I think the same could be said for the rubber on the handles of the pot itself, but having learned from just grabbing the lid, I was very careful where I put my hands when grabbing the handles of the pot. I don't need a 5-gallon pot to cook food, but it is a great size for canning. I read some of the questions and answers, concerned that it might not work with my ceramic-top stove, but several people have tried it without problems so I gave it a shot, and didn't have any issues. It did take quite a long time to heat the water to boiling, but I think that is more an issue of my stove and the amount of water I was heating. Because I boiled very hard tap water in this, I do have some hard water spots in the pot. I probably could figure out a way to get them off without using scouring powder, which should not be used on this, but they are cosmetic only, so don't bother me. If the handles were a little more protective, this would be a 5-star pot, but even as it is, I am very pleased with it.

Quite impressed with the quality.
I purchased this to replace my non-induction T-Fal 12qt stock pot pictured inside for size reference. I primary used that pot for water bath canning and it would hold 6 pint jars but with no room to spare. And I had to use it on a 8” hot plate which took forever to heat. This pot is induction ready and I brought 6 qts of water to a rolling boil in 13 minutes on our induction cooktop, it has ample room for 6 pint jars. The bottom is very heavy and really holds the heat. It is well finished and the quality is every bit as good as the pot it’s replacing. It’s not quite All-Clad quality in that the side walls of the pot are not 3 layer but it will serve the same purpose. Incredible value for the quality. Keep in mind the bottom really holds the heat so if you are making a stew or similar, don’t go above medium heat, just give it a little time to get there and it will hold it at a constant temperature.

Money well spent
Love this pot. Heavy duty, never burns on the bottom. As a home canner Ive put it thru its paces and it keeps going.

Works on Induction & MUCH better quality than the price might suggest.
This LARGE pot was maybe just a bit bigger (1/4" larger in diameter) than my biggest induction burner, but the huge capacity was perfect for my needs. I honestly was expecting something of lesser quality than the price suggested. The quality was clearly there (my other pots are All-Clad D3, Le Creuset, Staub). The polish, weight and fit of the lid were perfect, and the glass lid unexpectedly fit my huge all-clad saute pan, woo-hoo!. The handles were not as heavy duty as my other brands, but definitely enough to handle the load full pot. It heated at a reasonable speed on my induction burners (not like a single thickness pot--which would translate into scorching) and transferred the heat evenly to the contents based on my observations. I needed something huge for VERY occasional use, and did not want to invest in my usual brands, so this was PERFECT. I was willing to settle a bit b/c my use for this was infrequent, but I am truly pleased with this choice. The only negative I can think of (and it's a small one overall) is that on the OUTSIDE of the pot where the sides turn into the bottom, there is a small ridge--maybe a millimeter or two. This might mean a sauce dripping down the sides could catch there and take an extra minute to clean, but sauce dripping all the way down such a TALL pot unnoticed seems like a rare occurrence to me... I hope this review helps you make up your mind, and I hope you write up your discoveries too--it helps us all.

A great little pot!
I picked this up on sale a while ago and it turned out to be excellent value. Quality steel, easy to clean, works great on my induction cooktop and fits into my toaster oven. The handles don't get hot on the stove although they do in the oven (as everything does!) It is compact to store, having the stockpot handles, and I have taken it camping a few times. It is just large enough to do meals for four, although we are not big eaters (no bottomless pit teenagers 😁) so might not be for some families. Certainly ample for a couple.

Very nice pot
I needed some new pots and I bought this one. It's a nice size, not too big, not too small. It cleans up very well and the silicone handles stay nice and cool. The vent in the lid is a nice bonus as it lets steam escape when simmering.
