Fits fine. Yellow filter media behind the foam
Fits the same. Just make sure you don’t toss the old one as the bottom gasket may be stuck to it. Make sure the gasket is back in its place and install new filter. The paper filter material is the dark yellow type. The foam is thin maybe an 1/8” but it will do the job for a bit. As long as the filter should last I would think. I don’t really mind as I got the two pack and cheap enough to just toss and out the second on rather than bothering with cleaning the foam prefilter later. If the whole thing falls apart then I’ll change the review.

Fit perfect on Honda gx390
Perfect fit on Honda gx390 powered North Star generator. Old filter looked pretty clean but was causing motor to surge and required a bit of choke to run smooth. New filter cured that problem and engine runs great now.
