Simple Smooth+ Facial Moisturiser 50 ml

This cream has been such a good find. It feels really light when applied, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t sit heavy on the skin at all. Even though the texture is light, it keeps my face hydrated all day. I have sensitive skin that often reacts to creams, but this one soothes and calms it without any irritation. My skin feels soft, comfortable, and healthier since I started using it. I also love the size which is perfect for traveling. Easy to pack in a bag, and you don’t need a lot each time, so it lasts well too. Overall, a great option if you’re looking for something simple, gentle, and effective that actually does what it promises.

Really good cream, sinks right into skin & leaves no residue, feels instantly cooling on itchy, sensitive skin & definitely leaves skin hydrated & soft to touch, good amount in pot, great value for money.

So I bought this to put on in the mornings before I put my make up on (I don’t wear foundation as such, just concealer really and I might put a bit of mineral powder on too). It’s very light and absorbs easily but I don’t think it offers me much in the way of Moisturisation as my skin can look a bit dry still. It’s the Simple brand, which isn’t apparent in the description or picture of it. It’s nice and gentle in the skin but not enough for me. My skin type is changing as peri menopausal, so needs more moisture now I think.

I have very sensitive skin and this Soothing Face Cream suits my skin. no tightness just soft skin

I’ve gone through a few tubs of this face cream now, and it’s one of the few that actually strikes the balance right. It hydrates properly - my skin feels supple for hours - but it never leaves that oily film that makes you want to wash your face again. The texture is more of a gel than a cream, smooth and cooling when you apply it, like aloe but a bit denser. The tub seals tightly (no leaks when travelling), and the portion size is fair. I get roughly four weeks of daily use out of each one. If you’ve tried heavier creams that clog your pores or lighter gels that vanish too quickly, this one sits neatly in between.

It isn't FA safe and isn't very hydrating either. If you have oily skin and not fungal acne, this would work well, but otherwise, if you have normal to dry skin, save money and buy their light hydrating moisturiser.

I have never been one for fancy face cream and rarely wear any make-up except mascara unless I'm going out (which you could probably count on one hand in a year). My skin is EXTREMELY sensitive and now in my 50's - I have recently been diagnosed with Rosacea (great) and seborrheic dermatitis for which I have prescription creams to apply daily. It is no exaggeration to say that a "flare up" for me turns my face beetroot red and it stings/burns like severe sunburn. Needless to say, this has put the fear of god into me for trying anything new on my face and even my old faithful moisturiser is now causing a reaction. Added to all this, post menopause, my skin is drier and flakier than ever before so I desperately needed something to help this but not set my skin off. I have tried SO many now, spent hours researching and a small fortune on expensive products - supposedly "safe" for sensitive skin - only to feel my skin start to burn seconds after applying! I remembered using Simple products as a teenager and after carefully studying the ingredients I ordered the soothing water moisturiser and - with extreme trepidation - applied it this morning. I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I was to find that it was lovely and cooling on my skin and - even better - didn't cause any reaction whatsoever! I have purchased the Rich moisturiser (which I applied before bed last night) and can report equally great results with that too! I cannot recommend this product highly enough to anyone experiencing similar skin issues to me. THANK YOU SIMPLE! :)
