Nice.
Works great. Purchased this to bore precision holes in solid copper rod. Excellent. Took moments to figure out. Excellent torque, great speed control. Instructions are minimal, but was easy to make work. Takes up a small space. Great value. Very solid . I admit I was surprised by how well made it is. Sturdy and somewhat heavy. Great hobby lathe. Nice!

Fun mini lathe
What fun. I love this lathe. It comes with everything you need and works great. It runs smoothly and quietly. Donโt expect it to turn larger pieces but it works great on the appropriate sized projects. I was amazed that the chuck provided worked like the full sized version. The cutting tools work well and itโs great they donโt need to be sharpened. All in all this is a quality unit, with a ton of accessories, and works well. Definitely would recommend and buy it again.

Really nice for what it is
This is an awesome little tabletop lathe. I quickly determined it wasn't for me, but it is really well made for the price, and it's nice that it comes as a full kit that you can get to using right away, right out of the box. My issue with it is the tailstock, which comes in this threaded format, instead of a taper. Even an MT1 would be good, but it doesn't have that. That really limits the ecosystem of accessories you can build up. Additionally, the spindle thread is in an M18x1.5, which is also nearly impossible to find accessories for. There are only two chucks that I know of that will go on it, and they both so-so. Finally, the motor is a little underpowered, even for a lathe this size, so you really have to be gentle with your cuts, as bogging it down is really easy. As long as you can get past those reservations as well as its tiny envelope, you will definitely enjoy this. It would make a decent pen lathe.

This is neither a mini lathe nor a toy
This is a miniature lathe. It is built well and solid. Being the "WM101a plus" model it comes with plenty of accessories. I have run it with wood and pewter. It works well. This is a 1 hp (not HP) motor - hamster power not horse power. When turning, take no more than a paper thin layer at a time and it will work very well. Take more and the motor stops but resumes. The lathe tools use standard size carbide blades so replacements easy to get. Again this is a miniature lathe not a mini lathe - it cost more than my Wen mini lathe but this is very convenient to move around and set up, weighing less than 10 lbs. I am pleased and impressed with it.

This lathe is powerful enough for more than turning wood
Nice little lathe! I didn't buy this for turning wood I got it to drill holes in brass and it had more than enough power to do the job. When not in use it's small enough to put under a bench or on a top shelf

Meh
It works for simple things but it is weak and can't take a lot of pressure on wood. Not good for acrilic material. I bought it to turn pens but it's not the best.

So fun and meditative!
I absolutely love it! As far as a hobby goes Iโm digging carving up all sorts of wood and making round stuff. Really sturdy, super easy to use, and as far as value for money I think they could double the price

10/10
It only just arrived, but Iโm immediately impressed by the quality of all of the parts. Even the shaping tools have machined aluminum handles (they looked like plastic in the photos). Amazing value overall, 10/10.

Not worth it
Within 48 hours of purchase, a set screw fell out on the inside. If you didn't know what to look for, you would assume the unit was junk. It was expensive for what it is, and a day later went on sale for almost 150 less then I paid. It doesn't have a ton of power but is okay for literal tiny ctafts.
