Clinical Works Body Scrub Trio

I picked up this Clinical Exfoliating Cleanser and first off, the packaging is nice and you get a good amount of product for your money. The scent is pleasant and not too strong, which is great. The consistency is smooth and exfoliating, which I liked a lot. However, it's not really a scrub—more like a light body polish. You have to use it on dry to damp skin, otherwise it just turns into a milky liquid that doesn't foam up. It does leave my skin feeling smooth, but I'm not sure if that's from the retinol or the product turning into a slippery texture. Also, the jar isn't filled to the top, which feels a bit misleading. Overall, it’s decent for the price, but it might not be for everyone, especially if you're looking for a traditional scrub.

All around, this works really well. It’s moisturizing, exfoliating, and has all the benefits of retinol. But my favorite part is the scent. The rose fragrance is very nice and long lasting. I don’t always like rose fragrances. This one is clean and warm, though, not like you just stuck your nose in essential oil or something. Love using this scrub.

I really like the packaging and how much product you get for your dollar. The scent is really nice and not overpowering and a little bit goes a long way. The consistency is soft and smooth, but exfoliating. Really like this product.

The scrub is great, even kind of 'suds' up as you use it & smells natural. The hyaluronic formula is VERY moisturizing & leaves skin hydrated without leaving sticky residue behind. I've found it does a good job of prepping the skin for shaving. ** Only one critique for this version. IMO, it could use more scrub (basically a more even ratio of the base and scrub) I used 4 stars because like other customers reviews, unfortunately the top to the container was broken - had to figure out how to keep it dry. I used a mason jar with the replacement plastic tops you can buy so the metal top doesn't rust.

Love these scrubs. They smell so good and your skin feels silky smooth once you wash the body scrub.

I wouldn’t describe this as a scrub. More like an extremely light body polish. You have basically have to use it on dry to damp skin, bc as soon as you mix too much water, it just turns into a milky white liquid. It doesn’t foam or thicken up either. So it has an odd texture. It does leave your skin feeling “smooth”, but I’m not sure yet if that’s the retinol, or the milky, watery, liquid the product turns into. Bc it puts this slip on your skin, kind of like in-shower lotion. I’m not sure about it yet. My main issue is, although the jar it comes in is huge, making you think I you are getting a lot of product, you aren’t. It’s not filled to the stop. It’s like half way to the top. So that’s very misleading. I do not like that at all. Other than that, the smell is mild, and consistency is thick in the jar. But like I said, once you start exfoliating, it immediately loses its grit, and becomes milky white liquid on your skin.

I LOVE these scrubs. They are thick, they exfoliate super well, and most smell amazing (the rose is so-so depending on how much you like rose). However, the collagen “lavender,” smells like a rancid old woman’s perfume. Like a cheap spray on perfume I used to buy at Walmart when I was 12 😬

I love how it goes on like butter and leaves it Like silk.. It doesn’t leave a residue on your skin when rinsing off in shower or bath! I have been using it for about a year and Quite satisfied how my skin looks after using it.. the smell is clean too..MaryAnn
