Easy to use and easy to clean! Added my recipe here as well.
I have been using this for several weeks now and I have to say that I really enjoy this cold brew pitcher. When I say it’s easy to use and easy to clean, I really mean it. Here is my recipe, and it doesn’t require a bunch of super precise measurements: 1) Use 4 ounces (115 grams) of medium-coarse ground coffee. I prefer a medium-dark roast for cold brew, but choose your own adventure. 2) Add the ground coffee to the center filter cartridge. The 4 oz amount I note above nicely fills the filter basket to the top. 3) Attach the filter full of coffee to the lid and screw it down. Pour clean fresh water (filtered is best) down through the grounds until the pitcher is full of water. No need to fuss over the specific amount of water here. Just slowly pour it in until the pitcher is full. 4) Screw the cap on, give it a bit of a cheeky shake, and let it sit on the counter for around 12-16 hours. The longer it sits, the stronger it will be. I’ve read that much more than 18 hours cause funky tasting coffee. I will occasionally give it a bit of a shake when I happen to walk by it, but it’s not necessary and only needs to be enough of a shake to agitate the mixture a bit. I find that I drink my cold brew in the afternoons, so when I finish out the batch, I make up a new batch that afternoon, and it’s ready when I get up the next morning. 5) After the 12-16 hours, take the filter cartridge out, let the liquid drain into the pitcher, and set the cartridge aside while you get the coffee squared away. Some folks may choose to top off the pitcher with filtered water, but I prefer to keep it as-is for when I add sweet cream to it. Keeping it as-is also keeps the coffee from getting too dilute if you like it over ice. 6) When you are ready, take the filter to your preferred disposal spot - I usually dump my used grounds in the plant bed - unscrew the base cap, give the filter a little shake, and the grounds will easily drop free since the shape is flared toward the opening. Rinse it out and set aside to dry. That’s it! Pro tips: An optional step I like to do is pour the cold brew through a paper filter to remove the larger sediment from the brewing. This gives the coffee a smoother, less gritty mouth feel. Return the filtered coffee to the pitcher, screw on the cap, and you’re ready to go. If you like nitro cold brew with cream, but don’t have a nitro device, I find that using a milk frother with the sweet cream gives it a bit more of a creamier mouth feel that somewhat mimics the nitro experience. To summarize, this pitcher makes the process of homemade cold brew very simple. The pitcher is sturdy and the pieces align very well. The design of the filter is easy to clean, which is the opposite of many other brewing options. The lid secures snugly and keeps the coffee from leaking under normal use. I really don’t have any complaints at all, and using this saves me quite a bit of time and money over running to a coffee shop. If you’re on the fence, just get it. 👍

Easy to make great cold brew coffee!
I wanted a cold brew coffee maker after discovering just how much less bitter cold brewed coffee tastes because of the reduced acidity. Besides, I've always liked iced coffee, so I don't have to water down hot coffee with a handful of ice cubes, but can have a hot cup when desired by simply using the microwave for a few seconds. I made my first pot yesterday afternoon so it would be ready this morning (approximately 16 hours), and am really impressed with how easy it was and how great it tastes. I'd read what seemed like a credible review, and this particular coffee maker was highly rated despite how affordable it is - so I purchased two of them so I'd always have a pot on hand in the refrigerator. Besides the user-friendly design of the unit's components, the shape of the carafe makes it easy to fit in the refrigerator without taking up much space. I also like the fact that it's made from Eastman's Tritan plastic, as we have a countertop distiller that uses this material for its carafe and I've found it to be really durable while not incorporating any of the chemical compounds that have been found to be harmful. I don't know how durable it will turn out to be, but my current impression is that I'll definitely get my money's worth and then some with just a little care on my part.

Affordable and good quality
This is my first cold brew pitcher so I haven’t been able to compare it to any. This does seem to be good quality, easy to use and does the job. My only complaint is that it’s difficult to keep the grounds out of the water when you first fill it. You have to be very careful not to overfill because especially once the grounds reservoir is placed into the water filled pitcher it swells and comes up over for the spout.

Easy to use!
So easy to use that my husband makes his own coffee with it! My husband was having trouble with stomach aches after his gallons of coffee each day. We were told that cold brew coffee can be less acidic and hoped that it would help his stomach issues. You literally grind the coffee and put it in the center filter and fill up the container with water then set it in the fridge and walk away until the next day. Technically I think the instructions said 12 hours, but we fill it, toss it in the fridge and forget about it until the next day. Coffee tastes great and is ready to pour the next day. The husband nukes his cup in the microwave to get it hot and fills his travel mug. I'm not sure that it helps much with the stomach issue, but the hubs likes it and it makes a good cold coffee for me so win - win in my books!

Good product
I have used this maker daily ever since it arrived. It is well worth the money for me. This unit is basically leak proof, shatter proof, and easy to breakdown clean.

Great coffee
Simple, comes apart easily for cleaning. Bottom of coffee filter comes off. Nice touch for cleaning. First couple pots turned out great. Very satisfied with purchase.

Not German, not a bad cold brewer though.
I don’t know how to feel about this one. I feel a little bamboozled because I got drawn in by the German engineering. But this is definitely a piece of plastic and it has held up pretty well and makes perfectly decent cold brew. I’m a little worried at how the filter mesh will hold up overtime but so far it’s survived a bunch of usage and the washing machine so seems all right.

Love this!
I've been using this for a couple of weeks now, and I absolutely love it. It's very easy to use and clean. It fits perfectly into the door of my fridge for easy access. I drink one yeti of coffee each day and this makes enough coffee to last me through the week. I have not experience any leaking from the pitcher. It does have a slow stream from it, but that's not an issue for me. It's functional, and creates a wonderful cold brew! Not to mention the price being super cheap compared to other items that are similar on the market. I was using a mason jar with tea bags before to make my cold brew but it didn't have a pour spout - this takes the cake and I will never turn back.

Decent, little flimsy.
Decent unit. Looks nice, but it feels like I am going to break it putting it together or apart.
