Couldn't be more happier of the conversations I will be able to hear now ....
Long review , but I am 41 years old and have trouble with hearing since my late 20's . On count of money situation in today's society , I couldn't afford to go to ear doctors and spend hundreds maybe even thousands on a hearing exam and aids . On count of that I always felt like I was missing out on conversations , and knew people would get frustrated because I was constantly asking what they said , or they would have to say my name 4-5 times louder each time until I finally heard them , and I know it was aggravating to them because it was aggravating to me and really made me put myself down because of it. It had gotten to be so bad that I would rather stay home then go out with friends or family because deep down I always felt like I was being left out on the conversations because somebody would ask me something and I would have to apologise and just shake my head , because I couldn't really understand what they were saying . What hurt me the most not being able to hear is having a beautiful little smart 6 year old son , and he really didnt understand why I could hardly understand him and probably thought I was ignoring him half the time and he would say mommy I was talking to you and I would have to apologize to him for not hearing him and let him know that mommy wasn't ignoring him , I just didn't hear him and it broke my heart because I was literally missing out on conversations with my son also . So , I had been hearing about over the counter hearing aids for awhile , and decided to look at reviews of different pairs , and I happen to come across these and after reading reviews and the seeing the low price , I decided why not give them a try ? Because I had gotten to the point that I was tired of missing out on conversations , I was tired of feeling like less of a person or mother because of my hearing and not being able to enjoy a conversation with my son , so I jumped the gun and bought these and as soon as I received them and after reading the users guide and everything I put them in and all I can say is the tears just started coming because as I was testing them out I stood out in the middle of my yard and I could hear my son and my husband say they loved me from our porch and the feeling was just wonderful being able to hear them that far away , and I could hear things so clearly and plainly , I could hear the birds chirping when I couldn't hardly before , unless they were right above my head and now I am actually able to hear a car coming a mile up the road before I even see it , and I was worried if they would feel heavy on my ears or they would start hurting after awhile from wearing them , but I wore them for 5 hours and my ears never hurt one time , but I love how durable they are and light weight , and my son loves them because he doesn't have to call my name 4-5 times or holler to get my attention , he even told our neighbor who is in his 60's, mommy can hear now and I couldn't stop crying just hearing the joy and happiness in his little voice and see it on his face as he said that it made me so happy and that's when our neighbor had talked to me and noticed I was actually able to understand him and he asked me where I got mine and I told him amazon , and now he is wanting to get some for his father-in-law who has hearing problems also ! I can't really stress enough how much these have changed my life in just a few minutes of putting them in and if I could have found these years ago I would have bought them then instead of waiting so long to get them , especially as long as I had , all I want to say if you are having trouble hearing like I did , Please , please don't hesitate to order these because you will not regret it , because they have changed my life in a big way and who would actually think that be able to hear can do that , let me tell you it can and I would recommend these to anyone young or old and if I could I would give these 20 stars , so please don't hesitate about getting these because you will be glad you did !

They work pretty good
I have a hearing loss from industrial work. I have never been officially diagnosed from an audiologist, just from the declined recorded on required hearing tests. I tried another "hearing assist device" and didn't like it because there was a lot of background loudness and I found them annoying. I purchased these as I had looked at many choices, read the reviews and I liked the ability to manually change volume by button, although they can be synced to a phone, I chose not too because my phone is off at work. These do have noise reduction as far as background, they aren't perfect, but work fine for my purpose and the price reasonable. I have spoken to many people who have spent a lot of money on fancy hearing aids and they aren't perfect either. These aren't hidden, they sit on the outside and look like earphones. They do hold a charge for a long time, charge reasonably quick and come with nice charging case.

Get a pair of these before spending big bucks on "prescription" hearing aids not too bad
Let me begin with a small confession. When my primary care doctor noticed some hearing loss at my annual physical, I did what responsible, mature adults do. I went to the ENT. I nodded thoughtfully. I sat through the testing. I agreed that yes, perhaps the world had grown slightly muffled. What I did not realize was that the follow-up appointment was less “medical consultation” and more “luxury automotive sales experience,” except instead of a German sedan, we were discussing hearing aids priced somewhere between five and six thousand dollars. They were small. They were discreet. They were technologically impressive. They were also the cost of a respectable used car. I tried them. I blinked at the quote. I decided to wait. A friend of mine mentioned he had purchased a set of low-cost, over-the-counter hearing aids for under a hundred dollars and was perfectly satisfied. Naturally, I was skeptical. I assumed the difference would be night and day. It was not. These inexpensive hearing aids use a built-in DSP chip that enhances speech and reduces background noise. Are they miracle devices? No. But in actual day-to-day life, they amplify conversations, make television dialogue clearer, and significantly reduce the “what did you say?” factor. The dreaded whistling and squeaking is minimal. Voices are noticeably more intelligible. And here is the surprising part: in practical use, they work about as well as the high-priced ones I tested. The expensive pair was smaller. Yes. More refined. Certainly. But the improvement in performance was not proportional to the additional several thousand dollars. These also function as Bluetooth earbuds. That means I can stream calls, music, or podcasts directly to them. So instead of looking like someone wearing medical devices, I look like everyone else walking around with earbuds in. Which, frankly, is most of the population. The irony is delightful. The premium hearing aids I tried were tiny and discreet, but unmistakably “hearing aids.” These, while slightly larger, blend right into modern life. People assume you are listening to a podcast. Or ignoring them. Both are socially acceptable. Comfort is better than expected. They are lightweight, come with multiple ear dome sizes, and once seated properly, they are stable. The battery life is excellent. Around eighteen hours on a charge, with a quick recharge time and a charging case that even includes a basic dehumidification function. That matters if you live somewhere warm or wear them all day. Controls are simple. One button manages volume levels and noise reduction modes. No app required. No complicated programming session. Just adjust and go. Are these perfect? No. They are not as miniature as the $5,000 options. The materials feel consumer-grade rather than medical-device-grade. Fine tuning is limited to preset modes rather than custom audiologist calibration. But here is the essential question: Are they worth trying before you sign a multi-thousand-dollar contract? Absolutely. For moderate age-related hearing loss, these have been more than adequate. Conversations are clearer. Television is enjoyable without blasting the volume. Phone calls are intelligible. And I did not have to finance them. If you are in that awkward in-between stage, where hearing is diminished but not catastrophic, it makes tremendous sense to test an affordable OTC solution first. You may find, as I did, that the difference between hundreds and thousands is not nearly as dramatic as you were led to believe. And if nothing else, you will look less like a patient and more like someone deeply immersed in a podcast about modern culture. That alone is worth something.
