With these and the other weights I have, I always end up having to reinforce the edges on my sewing machine to keep the sides of the Velcro from coming apart. Other than that, I love these! I have 10# set, 5# each. I use them for leg lifts, not for walking or running. There will be no issues with sand leaking out as the weights are broken down into 6 sealed packets so you can adjust to the weight you need. I am impressed with how well made they are.UPDATE: 6/23/‘21 Been using them about 5 x a week since I got them and they’re still holding up well. They are, however, a little clumsy as wrist weights. Hard to get them tight enough, so they slip around a bit.
