MAYFAIR 113CP 000 Soft Toilet Seat with Chrome Hinges, ELONGATED, Padded with Wood Core, White

I was sceptical about buying this online, because you never really know what you're getting. The ones I have found in stores are really flimsy and made of cardboard. Not this one... its great!!! sturdy, made of wood, its soft and fits great. When you sit on the lid it doesn't give like the others, you don't feel like you're going to fall in. After tightening the nuts it didn't even wiggle...My family love it!. we are a big family and there are kids just running around. the last one i bought broke when one of the kids ran to use the bathroom and tried to stop with the toilet seat... the price is about the same as the ones you find at other retailers and its better quality.

Came well packaged - protected from scratches, tears, etc. Fittings are strong & good looking. Was very easy to install & fits toilet nicely. Have been using for over a month & it has stayed tightly secured. Very comfortable to sit on. Good for child & adult. Gives a child or smaller adult feeling of security where regular toilet seat made them feel as if they were going to fall into the toilet. Highly recommend

This seems to be one of the better made soft toilet seats. We had a different one before this that broke in half the first time my 130 pound wife sat on it. This one is much more durable and is comfortable. I just wish they made a soft toilet seat with memory foam. Update: There is one major issue with this product. On our toilet it is too thick and when the lid and seat are up, the seat will sometimes fall down. For a man standing in front, it can be quite a shock! I put a tiny piece of Velcro to attach the seat to the lid, right in the front between the seated user's thighs. This works fine now and I can stand there without fear. I suggest that if you do apply Velcro, put the soft half on the seat and the hook part on the lid. Easier on your legs if you touch it on the seat.

It had an irritating little tear in the covering cloth of the seat, for several weeks if not months. I finally decided I should replace it, and went looking for my order info. I noticed it was warranted for a year, and it was literally less than a week to the 1 year mark since purchase. I emailed the company in re the order, and after I sent them the order info and a pic of the seat tear, they very nicely offered a replacement. I got the replacement within a week and installed in 10 minutes. It is perfect, and I'm sure the tear was an anomaly, so I am very happy!

If you’re looking for an elongated cushion, this is truly one. Also, if it slips out of your fingers when you’re closing the lid, it doesn’t make a big brouhaha and wake the neighbors. It just lands with a muffled thump. Very comfortable for lengthy um... sits. Thanks to prime delivery, you can enjoy it quite soon after ordering. Installed in no time and can be done without special tools, but definitely benefits from a seat tightening tool. Nice!

I ordered this in 2009 mainly for the chrome hardware. I felt the chrome hinges would hold firmer, look better, and last longer. Unfortunately, the latter 2 requirements have not been met. The chrome started to corrode within a year and has now become unsightly with ugly flaking where the hinges attach to the lid after about 2 years of daily use. Aside from the unsightliness, I'm sure the strength of the hinges is also compromised. In addition, the seat started to split on top after about a year and is now through to the foam. Three stars because it is nice looking and comfortable, and I'm not really sure about the expected length of time for a soft seat to last. But at the price, my expectations were higher.

I purchased the Mayfair 113CP for my husband's 2020 Christmas gag gift. He was so excited... metal hinge, bolts & screws. Had the old one off and the new one in place within 3 minutes... would have made Tim, the Tool Man, Taylor proud. When you have to self quarantine... enjoy the space you have. And like Charmin says, " enjoy the go". Great product, sturdy, easy to clean ...

I bought this over a year ago to replace my seat with plastic hinges, but decided to wait until my old seat fell apart before installing it. Those plastic hinges don't work for me as they do not hold the seat still. This toilet seat is wonderful! The hinges are metal and everything feels solidly in place when you sit down. I will definitely buy again. Just wish they offered this one in beige.
