Get what you pay for MAYBE!
Well based on all the reviews I read before purchasing I fully expected this thing to be less than quality! Reviews were pretty much spot on! It’s cheap and like most others it came dented and bent! After struggling through tiding up all the quality control issues it wasn’t that bad! If you’re not comfortable using a drill and hammers you may want to pass this item up! We weren’t expecting much for the price and that’s about what we got. Looks: lol- and they are deceiving!

I've owned three of these over the years. Each one required some level of repair and re-engineering new out of the box. with that caveat, they are very good for the price. I strongly suggest users to purchase a 6' x 2 ' x 1/2" plywood board for the couch side of the futon. Just slide it under the mattress on top of the frame. otherwise you will feel the bars your buttox is sitting on and it not comfortable. The board will also distribute your weight better.

Good and bad
The tac welds aren't strong enough the bars could break easily. There was scuff marks all along the bars and a couple of dents. Easy to put together.

DO NOT BUY!
Assembled the bed - was fine to transition flat from the couch position, but near impossible to raise back up to a couch. For sure cannot raise it with only one person. And, the little support leg in front broke off in less than 24 hours. I worked with the company and they sent a couple replacement parts to attempt to fix it - but during that time, a support bar under the mattress fell off. The company refunded me at that point. We did not have good luck with the bed!

Came scratched and dented in multiple spots. The box was in good shape.
The futon came scratched and dented in multiple spots. It was damaged prior to them putting it in the box. The box was in good shape. Back frame was bent and the arms look like they were dragged across concrete. I'll buy some black spray paint and repaint the arm rests. The dents in the frame hopefully didn't damage it structurally. I needed the futon for a guest so I was forced to keep it. It does work and appears to still be solid enough. Looks like a scratch and dent product and should not have been boxed up and shipped to me in this condition.
