I'm Loving This.
This arrives in a box which contains the base, the acrylic plate which is in a foam pouch and has a peel off protective film, a USB lead, a remote control and instructions.The base can be powered by either the USB A to USB C lead that is included or 3 AAA batteries. Once the acrylic plate is taken out of it's protective pouch and the film removed it's just a matter of sliding it into the slot in the base.To turn the light on and change the colours you can either use the remote or use the touch button on the top of the base. One touch brings it on and further touches cycle through the available colours, a long touch will turn the light off. Using the remote you can change the brightness, the colours and select a timed or flash mode. The remote itself feels cheap and can be a bit hit and miss, just make sure you are pointing it directly at the front of the base and it should work fine.The light and effect I think are great and can be seen in the photos.As a computer gamer that has been gaming for over 40 years and never grown up (Started gaming on the ZX Spectrum) I'm loving this, it is going in my computer room and will be on a shelf and appear in the background of the YouTube videos I create.The price (£15.99 at time of review) I think is fair and comparable with others that are available. I might even get the other variant they sell. Being a big kid as said I really am loving this. Everyone should have one LOL, and I think this would make a great gift for anyone that is into computer/console gaming.I hope you found this review helpful.

A great addition to my games area
The perspex sign is good quality and quite thick making the lit area very solid. The light can be powered by either 3 pencil batteries or USB-C (short cable included)There are many colours of light to choose from and the colours can also cycle through with either a cross-fade or switch effect. The light also has a 5 step dim setting as well.The light can be controlled using a capacitive touch button on the base, or via the supplied IR remote control. I founds the remote to be a little hit and miss if you’re more than a couple of meters away so take this into consideration.The main unit is great but the remote could have been better quality. It still gets 5 stars from me as I think it was good value for the £16 at the time of purchase.
