I have been using the Beverly Hills MD Moisture Lock Botanical Essence for about three years. I absolutely love this product. It definitely helps moisture your facial skin and eliminates some of those wrinkles that we definitely don’t want. I definitely recommend this product!

Feels good on my skin

I've never tried any of Beverly Hills MD's products before, but I'm glad that I had the chance to because I'm impressed with this Moisture Lock Botanical Essence! That's saying a lot because I get to try a lot of other anti-aging products and rarely try one that achieves the visible results that this one does. This is a lightweight thin lotion that you apply after washing your face that helps lock in your skin's natural moisture and enhance the effectiveness of serums and moisturizers that you apply after this. They say to use about a quarter's size of the serum, but it spready so easily that a pea sized amount was all I needed. It only takes a couple of drops from the bottle to get that much, so this 74 ml bottle should last me quite a while (making the price a good value). It only takes a few moments to absorb completely, and then I apply my normal moisturizer over it, and I can see a difference nearly immediately. I can feel the skin of my face tightening a bit, and I can see it looking fuller - full enough that the smile lines around my mouth and the vertical lines between my eyebrows are much less noticeable. I chalked that off to having a good night's sleep beforehand on the first day, but then I noticed the same thing the following day after using the serum again, so I realized it was the serum. The improvement is clear to see every time I use this before moisturizer and foundation, so I'm sold on it now. There is a light pleasant fragrance to this serum which I quite like, but that may be a drawback to some if they're sensitive to fragrances in their products. Honestly, this is one of the best skincare products that I've been fortunate to get to try. Once this bottle is gone I'll be buying more!

I have mild rosacea and my skin is very sensitive, a lot of products can flare it up but this product didn’t, it’s non-irritating and gentle. I’m 43 and have fairly good skin because I take care of it but it’s aging and I have some fine lines, particularly around the eyes and on my forehead, and my cheeks have some uneven texture. This essence is great, I noticed a difference after a few days of using it. It’s a good consistency that absorbs easily without leaving a sticky or greasy feel. It’s lightweight and hydrating; my face appears smoother, more plump, and refreshed. It looks more youthful and has a subtle glow. Although I use vitamin C and other skincare, this essence contributed to the results I experienced. The bottle’s dispenser isn’t that good because it’s hard to get the product out. The directions state to use a quarter-sized amount and pat it into the skin and that’s sufficient enough but I can get away with less. The amount of product in the bottle should last a while. It has a good botanical scent that’s not strong or bothersome. I like it and would order it again. Keep in mind that what works for me may not work for you, everyone’s skin is different.

I already have a solid face routine with high-quality products. I use a toner, serum, moisturizer, and an oil. adding in an extra step seemed excessive, but I wanted to see if this made any difference since I have a friend that found success, adding a different brand essence in. It says to use this before your serum or moisturizer. The first time I tried this, the next morning my skin looked even better than it had before. It looked more plump and moisturized and fine lines seemed less. It’s now a regular part of my routine. I was actually really surprised. It gets slightly tacky when you apply it. It recommends patting it in and allowing 30 seconds to a minute to absorb. I’m really pleased with this and would definitely recommend.

I am really enjoying this essence formulation by Beverly Hills MD. It has a very light fragrance that I find appealing, and adds an immediate layer of moisture after washing my skin. I love the fermented ingredients, one of which is the third ingredient listed, so I know that there’s a strong amount taking care of my skin’s micro biome. I have been using this in place of my normal toner or essence, and have really liked how my skin looks and feels afterwards.

I really dislike the shaker bottle design. It's irritating to work with and dispenses either too little or too much. Not sure how much younger I look. I feel like I aged a little just trying to get it out of the bottle properly. Once I did, it seemed like a decent enough product, or "essence", as they call it. It goes on very nicely and absorbs quickly without leaving my skin greasy or sticky. Note that it is not fragrance free, but the scent is minimal. Not a budget friendly product.
