The best FPV drone at this price range.
Firstly I am an RC helicopter pilots with hundreds of flying hours. I own more than 20 flying machines from 2 ozs to 20+ lbs. I bought this drone and three other different models for myself and my three sons 22, 15 and 12 to play FPV games. I think Holyton HT 50 is well ahead of its class and price range. Very agile and responsive which makes is great for FPV challenges or races while it can hold well at a spot for pics and videos. The pictures are excellent and the videos near 4k quality. The remote has an external antenna which provides significant reliability advantage and range over antennas integrated within the remote. consider a rabbit ears antenna inside your home compared to an external Yagi on your roof. The brushless motors are designed with a screen to be cooled while keeping objects like sand and dirt out. At 240 grams the model is powered by a 1 cell 2100mAH Lipo battery which gave me a solid 25 minutes of flight which juice to spare. This attention to detail sets Holyton apart and I am was so impressed I bought a second set with the 2 batteries for $149 so at least one of my sons can keep up with me. This is a buy folks and I am considering 2 or 3 more especially if Amazon adds a coupon ! Yeah :)

So Much Fun, Even for Us Non-Techies! 🚁
I recently got my hands on the Holyton GPS Drone with a 4K Camera, and let me tell you—it’s a blast! Who knew flying a drone could be this much fun, even as an adult? It’s like playing with the ultimate toy that somehow makes me feel like I’m living in the future! First off, let’s talk about the design. This little quadcopter is sleek and compact, making it super easy to take anywhere. It’s foldable, so I can toss it in my bag and head out on adventures without it taking up half my trunk. Just the right size for someone who prefers their gadgets portable! Now, onto the flying experience! With the GPS feature, it feels like the drone is practically flying itself. I mean, I just pushed a button, and it took off like a little rocket! The auto-return function is a lifesaver for someone like me who might lose track of which direction it went. I can’t tell you how comforting it is to watch it gracefully come back to me like a well-trained puppy. 🐶 The 4K camera? Chef's kiss! The video quality is stunning. I was able to capture breathtaking aerial shots, and it made me feel like a nature documentary filmmaker (even if my backyard isn’t quite the Serengeti). The only hiccup? I’m not the most tech-savvy person out there, so figuring out all the camera functions took a bit of trial and error. But hey, that’s part of the fun! After some fiddling, I was able to get some amazing footage that made my friends think I was a pro. The battery life is impressive too! With two batteries, I got a total of 50 minutes of flight time. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning, buzzing around and capturing every moment. Plus, the “Follow Me” feature is pure genius! I could set the drone to follow me while I went on my little escapades, and it felt like having my own personal camera crew. Talk about feeling fancy! In conclusion, if you’re looking for a fun and thrilling way to explore the skies (and you’re a bit tech-challenged like me), the Holyton GPS Drone is the way to go! It’s easy enough for beginners but still offers plenty of excitement. Just remember to practice with the camera settings, and you’ll be flying high and capturing memories in no time. Happy flying! 🌤️📸

Good drone
This is a pretty good drone for the price. Fun and easy to fly. Shaky video but the pics are good.durable, it had a couple crashes and no damage, the camera has a protective cage that helps. Great customer service, you won't be disappointed.

Inexpensive GPS drone that works
I now own several drones, from cheap under $30 ones to my DJI Mini 4 Pro that set me back over $1000. I'm a fairly experienced drone operator at this point. This Holyton GPS drone works well. It takes more time to acquire GPS satellites than my more expensive GPS drones. It doesn't hover in place as well as a more expensive ones do. The picture quality is pretty good for this price point, but the video quality is only adequate, since it lacks a gimble. The video which was a bit jumpy. Certainly not 4K quality. Of course I didn't expect it to have that at this price. Speaking of price, there are a few GPS drones out there for less than $100, but they don't have the company backing that Holyton has. Holyton is actually owned by Holy Stone, which makes some serious DJI quality drones. I think they are trying to work their way into the upper end drone market although at this point with the drone manufactures flooding the market with cheaper and cheaper GPS drones, that will be a challenge. So what do you get for $150? A basic GPS drone that still has lots of bells and whistles. The "follow me" works well. Circle fly etc works. The main advantage with even bare minimum GPS is that, among other things, it knows where it is, and can return home automatically when the battery gets low. These batteries last a good 20-25 minutes, which is twice what you get with cheap under $50 drones. That alone is worth the extra money this costs. It is not the most economical drone out there. You can get cheaper ones with similar capabilities for less. Do they have the quality that comes with a name brand like Holyton? Probably not. Will those lesser priced GPS drones take 2.7K video at 25fps? Probably not. Will they have an SD slot on the drone to record better quality than is transmitted via your WiFi... Probably not. That's what makes this one a five star drone. Vids are jumpy. but if you want quality vids you need a gimble or post processing via software in the drone. Now you're talking starting at $3-400 and up. However for only around $150, this one shines. For the price, it works well
