We use these at home as a replacement for scratch paper when doing things like math homework etc. They work great, conserve paper and frankly, are far more convenient than having to erase mistakes (just click a button or flip it over). Great little tool. The only downside if there is one, is that you need sufficient light to see it. We frequently find ourselves trying to readjust to avoid glare while using it with overhead lights. Not a deal breaker by any means.

The item worked as intended for a quiet a while, bottom button stopped erasing using the magnet on the stylus. have to use the button on the back now to erase things which is a bit of a pain as i use it for Magic the gathering and other trading card games you need to keep track of things for. but it is small and pretty much just fits in your pocket if you don't wanna carry around a backpack while also being big enough to write on with no problem. overall 4/5

Other reviewers are correct where it's very dim to read. I have other LCD screens, and I knew they weren't as bright as the marketing pictures, I was surprised how dark it was. I think it's because the line widths from the pen is so thin, that it makes it extra difficult to read, but there's also not as much writing space so you don't want to write as thick as bigger screens. It works for my needs and is ok, but I had to knock down stars because immediately some of the screen has been lifting. I keep trying to push it back down, but it still lifts. I don't know what glue I can use to keep the LCD screen, or the little black bar at the bottom of the screen, sealed.

This item shows bold writing ability but text does not come out bold and is hard to read. You have to be in the sun or bright light to see the text. It is the perfect size, about cell phone size, for communicating short messages… especially for someone who is keyboard deficient. The screen is unreadable unless you’re using it in super bright light. Not possible for short days in New England.

I've always had a bad memory, which was made even worse after some health issues I went through recently. Now that I'm back to work, after almost 3 months off, I can't remember basic tasks that I've been doing for years. I was going through so much paper leaving myself notes of things I could not forget to do, that it was getting ridiculous. I had a gift card and was looking through stuff I might want and came across this. It was on sale for $9.99 and figured that wasn't so much that even if it didn't work well, I wouldn't be out much. I'm so glad I did. I've been using it constantly in the office since I got it, and no longer wasting paper! I even ordered two more (although with larger screens, I wanted this one to easily fit in my pocket at work) so I can have one for my own 'to do' list at home and another to leave on the kitchen counter for general notes for the family. While I can see that if you're not in a well-lit area the screen can be hard to see, everywhere I use it does have sufficient lighting, so it's not an issue for me. I've also put a 'watch' on this size again (the 6.5 inch) and if it goes on a good enough sale I might order another one, so I'll have two at work -- one for daily tasks and one for 'long term' things that need to get done. Definitely 5 stars from me!!

Used for 4 months, doesn’t always clear when wiped even after replacing battery just in case. There is also feathering at the top where the lines are not consistent or thin. Worth what I paid for it I was hoping for better longevity. Not going to last long and just create more e-waste.
