I think this one is better than my original because it hasn’t died yet while I’m using it! I’ve had it a couple months and occasionally the old one would run out of juice before my floors were all clean. But not the new one! I think it has more battery power than the OG had. It was relatively easy to install with a YouTube tutorial. Looks exactly like the old one. And it fits the charger perfectly! I have zero complaints 💕

I needed this it works, not quite as long lasting as the actual original, but at a fraction of the cost, I really don't care

My husband and I have had our vacuum for over 4 years now and the only thing that was really starting to go was the battery. It's a perfect replacement for the one we had, it was very easy to install, and it saved us a lot of money because my husband was initially talking about just replacing the whole vacuum. It works perfectly and we've had no issues so far.

I really wanted to like this battery. It claims to be more powerful than the original, but that claim is untrue. After I used it 4 times, fully charging between each use, it would no longer run my dyson on max power. The motor just cycles because it does not provide enough power to run on max. It will run on regular power, but the runtime is very short. Physically, the quality is also lacking. The manufacturing tolerances are pretty wide so it is very difficult to get the unit to plug into the wall charger. You have to wiggle it quite a bit to get it to plug in.

I’m leaving 4 stars because I just can’t speak to long term use but right out of the box it fit with no issues and the included screwdriver was pretty handy. It charged up pretty quick and when tested on high it was way more powerful suction, so much so I had to pull only on certain low pile carpets. Also it lasted a full 7 minutes on high which unbelievable considering it never performed that well even when new and prior to this replacement the original battery lasted barely 20 seconds on high. I’ll update this review in a year and perhaps bump it up to 5 stars.

I’ve had this battery pack for 3 years now and it’s still holding strong charges. I’ve only had to purchase just once for my Dyson

5 year old Dyson v7 from Costco suddenly stopped working. When charging or pulling the trigger the LED on the battery it game with just turned red once quickly and shut off. This battery came, replacement was as easy as replacing 3x screws, and once installed, vacuum worked good as new, and lasted as long as it did originally. With old battery using max mode for more than a few seconds would kill it, now it works great. Strongly recommend over the Dyson branded $100 option.

We bought a Dyson V8 Animalpro+ on 6/22/2020. After 40 months it stopped working. We bought this "V8 Battery Replacement for Dyson-6000mAh ... Compatible with SV10 V8 Animal Absolute" B0CQ29KMGV from CHANJOYH Store for $34.38. It lasted about 8.5 months ($4.04/mo). Then we bought a "Tree.NB Battery Replacement for Dyson ... V8 Animal ..." B07YSD69DM for $20.08. Now it is 7.5 months later and the vac will only run for a second or two, so the Tree battery cost $2.67/mo. We use the vac less than once a week in a small house. A new battery from Dyson costs $129.99 plus tax and if it lasts for 40 months like the original one, it would cost $3.25/mo not counting sales tax. I conclude that the cheaper non-Dyson batteries cost about the same per month as the much more expensive Dyson ones but there are to many unknowns to be sure.
