It's a hit or miss sometimes when ordering furniture online, because much of your satisfaction with the product is going to be based on your personal experience with it, not technical specs. I was confident after doing a ton of research online both via reading reviews for this chair on Amazon, as well as watching video reviews on Youtube, and ultimately decided that this was the best office chair in this price range for me to invest in.Is it worth it to buy a new chair if your current chair still works? I had doubted the value of this investment as well for this very reason. However, I can now say with confidence that it was one of the best investments for my workspace, and that I should have purchased a new chair much sooner. It only took me 20 minutes to put this thing together, and it is SOLID.My favorite features:SEAT CUSHION - This new chair has a very supportive and comfortable seat cushion, which fixed the pain I was developing in my lower back and coccyx from my previous chair and its flatter, older seat.BACK SUPPORT - The built in lumbar support is making a huge difference in my posture, which goes on to affect my shoulders as well. It is often overlooked in office chairs, but trust me, it will save your back especially if you are at the desk for extended hours.NECK REST - I've seen a lot of people say that the neck rest in office chairs are not really comfortable or useful, but that is not the case with this chair. This chair offers an adjustable neck rest that is breathable and very nice to lay on, encouraging comfortable breaks throughout your work sessions.LEANING - With an adjustable tension for leaning back, this chair has been great to take breaks on between focused work sessions, or when you want to just sit back and watch a movie on your computer. I tend to keep the function locked when I am working so that I am always sitting upright without a tendency to slouch or lean back.ADJUSTABLE ARMRESTS - Understated feature in office chairs. Depending on what you are doing on your computer and how you are sitting, you will find that the adjustable height and positions of the arm rests give you so much more support you didn't think you need. Getting your arms supported properly throughout your work is going to make a huge difference on whether you will develop tight shoulders and neck.Conclusion: My hip, back, and neck tightness have all gone away since using this chair. I was a skeptic about whether it would actually contribute to alleviating all these issues, or whether I was just at my desk for too long, but it turns out this chair has saved my back and enabled me to work longer, more productive hours at my desk. If you are in the market for a new chair within this price range, this is it. Buy it, spend the 15-20mins putting it together, and you'll never look back. Totally worth it.

This is my review of this product, its well packed keeping the product inside safe, all accessory, bolts are intact and parts are well cushion, easy to assemble with allen tool included, and just a heads up the base seat cushion is very heavy so it needs a little effort in removing it out from the box, overall the quality of this chair is very good, and its well made, its comfortable and looks premium, I like the knobs with this chair the forward n back and tension knob for tilting are nice feature but what I noticed about rotating knobs when you are in sitting position and try to adjust it may hurt your wrist while turning it so its something to be aware of, and the arm is made of hard rubber material it would be great if its a little softer, you can adjust the arm up n down, forward/back, side by side direction, 80/100deg tilt position its a nice features but the issue is when using this frequently it become loosen overtime, the seat cushion is firm not sure if there is spring inside that makes it firm or the foam itself is firm but I want a car seat feeling but this one is different, seat material is a little rough maybe cuz it it is still new, overall for the low price you paid for a premium look and good quality is a good buy, recommend it.

I've had this chair for a few days now and so far it has been great! The seat cushion is firm with plenty of padding that doesn't seem like it will give-in over time (but time will tell on that one), the lumbar support is a nice touch, and the backrest/headrest is very comfortable. It can lean back quite a bit with the ability to adjust the tension and lock the position. I have the seat adjusted forward as much as it'll go since sometimes I like to sit cross-legged on my chair and it feels pretty comfortable. Assembly was extremely easy and only took 15-20 minutes.There were 2 issues with this chair out-of-the-box but I was able to fix them pretty easily:Both had to do with the armrests. They were too easy to adjust in all positions and I felt like a little amount of force would send them moving. I was able to adjust it by removing 4 screws underneath each armrest along with the bolt inside. I then removed some of the lubricant and tightened the screws inside. This made a noticeable difference but didn't fix the armrest being able to move front to back too easily. Luckily someone on Thingiverse made 3D print models where you can make these small plastic shims (look up "Colamy Atlas chair armrest adjustment mod") that will lock the front and back motion. I found that if you put one shim on the top-right and the other in the bottom-left (or vice-versa) you can still move the armrest but it'll take much more force which I preferred. I don't believe you need to 3D print them, as long as you can find strong enough material that can be cut in the correct shape for the shim (maybe using the foam that comes in the box?).The armrest was also too hard and didn't offer much support so I bought some armrest cushions that strap-on rather nicely. You can find these pretty cheap on Amazon. I sprung for a $30 pair with cooling memory foam and they have been great.After a couple of these mods I feel like the chair is perfect for me and definitely a step-up from what I had before. For the price I definitely recommend (even though I had to made some adjustments).

The chair arrived in great condition with only one small dent in the box. Packing was very good and removing the chair parts after opening the box was pretty easy. All parts were included as well as one of each of the screws as spares and they also included the actual tool needed to put it all together.Once assembled, I discovered that the headrest actually has 3 adjustments. You can lift the headrest up and down on a ladder ratchet style assembly, you can rotate the mesh headrest to adjust for the curvature in the back of your neck, and you can also pivot the base of the headrest assembly forward and backwards about an inch or so. Caution: When making this adjustment for the first few times, it is very, very stiff. Its best to fully assemble the headrest by attaching it to the chair, then get behind the chair, place an hand on each vertical part of the headrest just above where it bolts to the chair at the pivot point, and slowly move the headrest forwards and backwards just 1/8th of an inch at a time which will loosen it up a bit with each movement. Keep an eye on the notch at the pivot joint and don't try to move the headrest more the the notch will allow. The back of the chair where the headrest bolts on will flex a little bit, but not break. All of the rest of the adjustments on the chair provide good range including the height adjustment, back recline adjustment, back tension adjustment for reclining and the seat front to back position adjustment. Remember to "LOCK" the seat adjustment into place after setting the seat to the position that fits you best by pushing the knob in until it locks. Pull it out, set it to your desired seating position, then push the knob in to lock the seat in place. This will keep the seat assembly from moving when you move in the chair. The lumbar support depth is really not adjustable front and back, so you determine how much pressure you want on the lumbar part of the chair by moving the seat assembly front or back. You can adjust the lumber support lower back / waist pressure point up and down to fit your waist area. Some suggest aligning it with your belt when sitting.When reclining, the chair and the seat bottom both move in a proportional way, but it is not a rocking chair. If you are coming out of an executive style chair that rocked, this will be a different experience for you and takes a little getting used to. The bottom seat of the chair is pretty firm as well and the foam is cut to kind of roll off at the sides a little so you can comfortably sit on one leg or both legs.The vertical part of the chair arms are made of solid metal and are not adjustable in or out as they are fixed in place very solidly with a connection to the seat. However, the tops of the arms are 4 way adjustable. The arms will stay pretty much fixed in one position with you recline in the chair, which is a little annoying because in that position, the chairs arms, when slid all the way back, don't really provide much if any support to your arms since they are attached to the chair bottom. To help remedy this, I took my arms apart and reversed the top sliding part to extend further to the back of the chair instead of the front of the chair. This change helps a little, but still not perfect. When moved all the way forward, they are just right and when you sit in a reclined position, and move the arms all the way back after making the adjustment, they are acceptable to me. I also ordered a pair of Aloudy brand arm pads to put on the chair from Amazon and they fit and feel wonderful. It is a little heavy, but for my 6 foot 1 inch frame at 200 pounds, it is a pretty comfortable chair. Its totally quiet and nothing rattles or is lose. It turns, reclines and rolls very easily and appears to be of very good quality. The seat is fabric and the back and headrest is a mesh material that breathes very well. Time will tell how long it all holds up, but overall it appears to be a pretty high quality product. I'll be keeping it.

I’m 6'1" and 167 lbs, and I purchased the Atlas (Model XK01). Unfortunately, this chair has several major flaws.The lumbar support is made of hard plastic, which becomes uncomfortable if you don’t have significant padding on your back. Worse, even if you lower or remove the lumbar support, a plastic hinge behind it presses into your back (see images), particularly when reclining. This appears to be a fundamental design flaw. The mesh backrest is presumably meant to provide adequate support, but in practice, it doesn’t.Additionally, returning the chair is a significant challenge. Once assembled, the parts seem to settle into place and are extremely difficult to disassemble. You’ll likely need substantial upper body strength, a rubber mallet, and a pipe wrench. The plastic casing around the cylinder further complicates tool access (see images).Part of the issues likely stem from the company being a Chinese reseller for manufacturers like Henglin, Nanjing, Zhejiang, and others. Import records show they source components from several known reseller providers. My assumption is that they are mixing parts for various products, as you can find chairs with matching pieces and similar model numbers. For example, the Henglin HLC-5188 and Colamy CL5188 have identical backs/seats, but their underside mechanisms don’t match exactly.In the case of the Atlas XK01, the entire chair is identical to the MyChair XKTDA, which is available from a Vietnamese reseller. This provides strong evidence that the Atlas XK01 is simply a reseller import. Additionally, the seat and back of the Atlas XK01 also match those of the MyChair XK01, further demonstrating the reliance on imported, pre-existing designs. Note the model numbers as well.Their reseller status contradicts the company’s stated mission on their website:"Founded in 2019, COLAMY was born with a simple yet powerful mission: to create stylish, functional furniture for the modern home. Specializing in office furniture, dining chairs, and living room pieces, COLAMY is committed to making smart, contemporary living accessible to everyone."This is a 1-star product due to its poor design, misleading branding (posing as a designer brand while functioning as a reseller).

I have a decent amount of experience with ergonomic office chairs. I have a HM Aeron at work, have used a Body Bilt, and also used the low end Ticova.This chair I would put up there with high end chairs. Build quality is good, seat is firm, and the back support is great. The adjustments on this chair are things you don't normally find at this price range.The tension for the backrest is not an issue at all for me. It seems like they addressed this. You go back about 20 degrees with very little resistance, but then after that it takes good effort to go past that (tension at max level)The armrests. I didn't find them too loose, but I also put them facing backwards, so they are there just if I need to recline. I would recommend trying this, as it is a great mod for most chairs. (UPDATE). They get loose after a few days. Kind of annoying.The only cons for me is that the seat feels convex, so you feel like you are sitting on top but not in the chair. I got used to this fairly quickly, but it is worth mentioning. The seat is comfortable however. The only other thing is that the headrest can feel a little loose. This might be a "me" thing as I didn't tighten it down as much as I could have - just a little more that hand tight.Some people complain about the lumbar support digging in, but I did not have this issue. As long as the chair is adjusted properly (seat depth and lumbar support) then this shouldn't be an issue.I mentioned the Ticova, and if you can't afford this, then the Ticova is worth it at that low price range (120ish). The build quality is not near as good, but it has decent back support. The seat depth is small and not adjustable however and it can feel like you are falling out of it.Overall I would highly recommend this chair and I can see it lasting for many years

I'd say 3.5 stars. TLDR: Something broke within 3 weeks, but it is a nicely packaged easy to assemble chair that actually feels quality in comparison to other brands. I have a feeling my seat breaking is not normal as it seems fairly well built.Pros:- Easiest thing I have ever assembled. The instructions are packaging are exceptional.- Build quality seems pretty good. I've used it for about a month now.- Fairly comfortable (but this varies for everyone - I am tall and lean, at 6'3" and 200lbs. With a longer than average torso).- Decent amount of adjustment options.- Quality versus price is good.Cons:- After 3 weeks of use the chair seat forward/backwards adjustment has failed. Even in the locked position it slides forward when I sit in it. I used epoxy glue to fix it in one place to not move.- I find that I have to keep the seat recline locked. Even with the tension at maximum it falls backwards. This could be due to my long torso. My armpits are where the seat back ends for reference.- I find that the seat back doesn't go forward far enough, I had to put a pillow behind me to sit straight, otherwise I hunch forward to compensate for the leaning back angle of the seat back in the full upright position.- The head rest is nice, but my head rarely touches it unless I am leaning back, due to the seat back angle.- The seat cushion does move forward and back which is an excellent feature, but for me two negative things happen. 1. It won't go far enough forward to give me the two fingers of space between the back of my knees and the chair (again this all depends on your height etc.) 2. When the seat cushion is all the way forward, it is uncomfortable for me as I feel even more reclined in the chair and after a few minutes feel a lot of pressure and blood pooling in my upper and lower legs.- The arm rest move around a bit too easily, a lock would be nice. As with every chair I have tried, the arm rests are a bit too far out, so keeping my elbows close to me is difficult. If you don't have this problem in your current chair, this chair will likely be fine. The arm rests also don't go high enough and I have to slouch to use them, but again I am long torso so this is every chair I have ever used.All that said, not a horrible chair for tall people, but you will be uncomfortable at some point (like every chair I have ever used, the best being a secret lab, but it is not great at all as it is a gaming chair and those are not ergonomic in any way).So overall, 3 stars mostly because something broke rather quickly, but this chair will likely work for many people out there in the 5'5" to 6' range.

Assembly was easy, good clear instructions step by step. Quality workmanship and parts is apparent throughout. Lots of adjustments allow me (5' 10") to get it just the way I want it. I would have given it 5 starts, but I only give it 4 stars because of the lumbar support, it's hard, not cushioned, and it sort of pokes my back right where I want the support. I'm hoping I can get used to it or make some sort of adjustment or fix for it. Overall, I think this chair is good value for the money.Edit: After approximately 28 days, the recline lock mechanism "broke" (stopped functioning properly). I contacted Colomey, and they requested a video of exactly what the problem was. I did send them a video. They then told me they would send a new chair, and that I would not need to return the "ole" one. In about a week, I got the replacement chair. I was disappointed that the original chair broke in that way, as I thought that I was getting a really quality chair. I'm now out approximately $300 with a fully functional chair that I'm wondering if it will stop functioning any day now. Hopefully, this one will not break. As far as the lumbar support complaint that I made, I will say that I have gotten used to it and it is no longer an issue, but leaving it as 4 stars because of the unreliability of the chair

Está muy sólidamente construida, super ajustable y con buen soporte. El respaldo es cómodo y fresco gracias a la malla, y el soporte de la cabeza es muy ajustable y genuinamente funcional, en especial para llamadas de Zoom.En general muy satisfecho con la compra después de 6 meses de uso constante en home office. Realmente sslvó mi espalda!Quizá los únicos puntos a mejorar sean el soporte lumbar plástico sin acojinados y la baja resistencia del respaldo al reclinarse sin asegurar la posición. Pero por el precio, de las mejores opciones que hay.

A great deal of research went into choosing my new office chair. Colamy Atlas is a terrific choice for high quality without breaking the bank. Helps that it looks stunning too in a lovely shade of light grey!

It's a little stiff at first but give it time and it will do wonders especially for your lower back.
