After two weeks of use, here is the breakdown of how it actually performs in a busy kitchen. ​The Highlights: Pros ​No Keys to Lose: This is the biggest selling point. If you’re like me and can barely find your car keys in the morning, the last thing you want is another tiny key to manage just to get a glass of milk. ​Strong Cable: The aircraft-grade steel cable feels incredibly sturdy. You’d need heavy-duty bolt cutters to get through it; a determined human isn't going to snap it by hand. ​Easy Installation: It took less than five minutes. It’s a simple peel-and-stick application. No drilling into my expensive stainless steel fridge was a huge relief. ​One-Handed Operation: Once you spin the dials to your code, the button release is smooth enough to manage even if you’re holding a grocery bag in the other hand. ​The Trade-offs: Cons ​Adhesive "Cure" Time: The instructions say to let the adhesive sit for 24 hours before using.
