Perfect replacement for my 2014 F15 platinum model
Had a hole appear in the shifter area of my 2014 F150 platinum. This replacement was the perfect solution for me. After watching a couple of YouTube videos, I was able to install it myself.

Excellent replacement
This is a great replacement for my OEM shifter cover plate. The original plate was still in pretty good condition, but the matte black panel where the actual shift stick is was beginning to crack. Replacing this unit was pretty simple, although it did require removing some of the console. Removing the base was fairly easy as only four clips held it in place. After removing the two sides of the shifter held on by clips, two small star screws holding the shifter in place were removed. Getting the old cover off required snipping a small fastener attached to the car, a fastener that the new cover did include (I believe they anticipate the need to cut this fastener). After uncoupling the clips attaching the wires, the cover was easily removed and replaced. I'm glad I attempted this one and it should hold up for another 10 years.

Perfect replacement
Perfect shifter cover for my 2014 Ford F150, FX2. The install is a little involved, however, itโs worth it once it gets installed and lit up at night.
