They save space — all of them neatly stack up, and that was #1 selling point for me. This is great if you live in an apartment or in the city, where you don’t usually have as much space. 2. Cost efficient — I’ve considered buying mixing bowls, measuring cups, colander and a sieve separately, and it just didn’t make sense. Maybe if you buy them over a period of time, you wouldn’t notice, but if you do the math, It really adds up to be way more than this set. 3. Great colours and sizes— love these colours over the rainbow coloured ones I’ve seen here, and the sizes are great. The biggest mixing bowl is so big, it could probably feed a large family over the holiday period. In our case, if I make a salad in it, it lasts us 2 or 3 days.
