Appearance: Tan paste, faint odor. Properties: This base is a bit more moisturizing than the LMLB No1, but still dries to a matte finish. It's a soft paste that has a satiny feel when applied then dries matte, it's pretty smudge proof. It doesn't have titanium dioxide to give a more vibrant, true-to-color finish. Customize by adding colorants d&C reds in liquid form and micas. 100% vegan. Use: Stir well before use. I thought a liquid lipstick would be a good start since I figured it's more forgiving in the making process. After mixing micas, the product does go on smooth, however requires a large amount of pigment for it not to be transparent. My pigments dried lighter than what they went on as, which is great, however after 10 min of wear, my lips felt dry and the product started to crack. Yes, I moisturized and exfoliated my lips prior.
