Bought this nicely subtle light sage , smooth polish with excellent brush for application to match a new , khaki green summer dress . Not one for liking 'matchy-matchy' nail colours , I relied on and trusted Amazon to stock it because this colour seems to have sold-out in many places. Pleased with the S.H. brand, its great reputation and fashion-forward nail colours without the typical brash advertising of other makes .

Good value & pretty colour

I've given three stars as I love the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polishes and they are always good quality, but I was disappointed with the Off With Her Red colour. It just is not red at all, it's hot pink cerise. I've tried layering it, but it makes no difference - it's pink, not red. Unless my bottle has been mislabeled, the name and photos are rather misleading.

I can honestly say this has to be one of the worse nail polishes I have ever purchased. (The photos attached show my nails after one coat and then up close after 2 coats). I applied Step 1 (following instructions on the bottle) 2 coats of Pink Cadillaquer, firstly it's really hard to apply neatly because the brush is quite chunky/wide/big and splays out so much, also it seems to show up every lump, bump, ridge and imperfection in your nails, then secondly the coverage is terrible, after 2 coats the nail is still visible underneath and there are clear brush marks. To make the nail polish more durable I applied Step 2 Miracle Gel high gloss top coat, this made my nails look even worse, every stroke of the brush seemed to remove or smear round the colour underneath, then my nails seemed to take forever to dry so everything it touched seemed to mark or gouge the polish. Certainly not durable at all and definitely not value for money, I have bought cheaper brands which give much better results. I would not recommend this colour, perhaps darks colours give a better coverage.

Love this varnish. I’ve found two very thin layers (they dry very quickly so doesn’t take long to do two coats). The third & last coat I do however thick it needs to be to get the desired opaqueness. I’ve found the 2nd step actually makes this varnish less durable so I’ve stop using it. It lasts longer on its own. The photo shows it after I’ve washed my hair so it really does last. I started using this stuff two weeks ago. My nails were in an awful state - really short and brittle, they were constantly breaking. With this stuff, my nails are actually growing despite lots of work around the house and cleaning without gloves. Definitely recommend.

It’s true, I only needed one coat to cover my nails. The color is pretty… It’s not a true pink though. It really depends on the angle or intensity of the light. It can show up as dark pink, reddish or orangeish. It was so easy to apply. Not to thick and not thin at all, complete coverage! I’ll buy it again.
