Got this while recovering from surgery and couldn’t do much. Easy to assemble. Works exactly as expected. My mom always wants to use it when she’s here, too! Agree with other reviews about your knees hitting the plastic in the middle. Slightly annoying, but I might not have noticed it otherwise.

I just received this today and don't have a lot to share except that it was easy to assemble and included tools. It seems like a good workout. My quads burn after just a minute.

Few things, I am well away from max weight and still feel like it's not as sturdy as I'd like. Also foot rests are small. I have small feet (7 womens) and wonder how easy it would feel for someone with larger feet. Definitely a good full body workout.

This machine is no joke! Please do not underestimate it. I’m 252lbs and have restarted my fitness journey. I’ve had this for about 6 months now and I’ve only began taking it seriously now that I’m back trying to lose weight. It’s a challenge so in order to be effective I use it for HIIT cardio, where I go nonstop for 30 seconds then rest for 30 seconds. I’m starting there and working my way up to longer increments. Today and yesterday I did 15 minutes of HIIT and it wore me out. I was visibly sweating and can feel the impact of the machine already. But honestly, even though it’s just a couple days that I’ve been taking it seriously, I’m already feeling the effects and getting better at it. I’m looking forward to the fall and winter when I can’t walk to the gym near my house and I’ll be forced to do indoor workouts around the clock. I’m sure I’ll blow out the water when I have no choice but to use this and this alone.

*** Updated Sept. 23, 2024 ****If I could return this item, I would immediately!The rubber wheels are a constant and continuous problem and the user support from maxiclimber is NOT helpful at all.It is a great workout if the rubber wheels weren't always causing problems. They shred, causing flat spot that cause a thumping each time it runs up and down the pole, or they freeze up causing it to be stiff and difficult to use.**********************I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT BY THIS PRODUCT**************I just purchased this from amazon. I really do like the workout I receive using it and would very much like to keep it, but I am seriously considering returning it because of at least one major issue.Pro’s;It sets up easily.It is a really good work out.It takes up little space and can collapse to fold up and store behind a door (kind of, the U legs kind of prevent that).Con’s;The cheap plastic rollers shred like crazy. I have real concerns about the life expectancy of this machine. I’ve talked to maxiclimber customer support and they will replace the rollers up to one year if you send them the order # of your purchase. Then after a year you have to purchase them. My issue is this is a known issue for a year or more and they have done nothing to improve the quality of the rollers. Every time I use the machine it leaves a pile of shredded roller on the floor (see pics).The resistance band they provide really doesn’t provide much resistance. I wish they had the option of obtaining another more resistant band to put on the machine.The black plastic triangle front of the machine (see pic.) flares out enough that I bang my knees on it all too often.
