Strong cooling performance that works well for apartment use
I have been using this Humhold 14000 BTU portable air conditioner to keep my apartment cool during warmer months, and it has made a noticeable difference. The cooling power is solid for a portable unit. It brings the temperature down fairly quickly in a medium sized room and helps maintain a comfortable environment during the day. I mainly use it in the living area, and it keeps the space consistently cool even when it is warmer outside. Setup was straightforward with the window kit, and once installed it runs reliably. The unit is on wheels, which makes it easier to move between rooms if needed. The controls are simple to use, and the remote is convenient for adjusting settings without getting up. In terms of noise, it is about what you would expect from a portable AC. You can hear it running, but it is manageable and fades into the background after a while. Compared to smaller portable units I have used before, this one feels more capable for cooling larger spaces. Pros 1. Strong cooling performance for apartment sized rooms 2. Helps maintain a consistent temperature 3. Easy to move with built in wheels 4. Straightforward setup with window kit 5. Remote control adds convenience Cons 1. Noticeable noise during operation 2. Takes up some floor space Overall, this is a solid option if you need a portable AC for an apartment or single room. It cools effectively, is easy to use, and makes a big difference during warmer months.

Powerful, Smart, and Low-Maintenance Cooling
Versatile 3-in-1 Comfort: Beyond its robust cooling capacity (61^\circ\text{F} to 88^\circ\text{F}), it serves as a 3-speed fan and a powerful dehumidifier capable of pulling up to 95 pints of moisture per day. โHassle-Free Self-Evaporation: For everyday use, a built-in water self-evaporation system means no tedious drainingโmoisture escapes automatically through the exhaust hose (though high-humidity areas like basements may require periodic draining via the back plugs). โSmart & Sleep Modes: An internal temperature sensor can automatically manage cooling to keep rooms at a comfortable 73^\circ\text{F}โ77^\circ\text{F}. In Sleep Mode, the unit runs under a whisper-quiet 48dB, paired with a 24-hour timer to save on energy bills. โExcellent Air Distribution: An upgraded fan system features an 80^\circ wide-angle auto-swing, ensuring crisp, cool air is distributed evenly across the room rather than blowing in just one direction. โEasy Setup & Mobility: Equipped with 360ยฐ heavy-duty wheels and side handles, it rolls smoothly between rooms. Plus, the included window sealing kit allows for a quick, tool-free 3-step installation. โWhether you need fast relief from the heat or consistent climate control in a large room, this portable AC balances convenience, power, and efficiency perfectly.

Works Great! Easy Set Up
Easy set up! Not too heavy. I set up it myself. Cools our bedroom really well. Our bedroom is upstairs and it gets hot up there even though we have Central Air. It is nice and quiet. It looks stylish and doesnโt take up a lot of room. We are buying another one.

Misleading and loud. Run away.
First off, read the description CLOSELY. They put 14,000 BTU up and front (in the title, in the button you click to purchase) but it is not, functionally, 14,000. There are two standards and 14,000 is the perfect conditions science setting which this is not. It's 10,000 for the more accurate standard. So if you're looking for 14,000 AC, look elsewhere. They also throw the word smart around in the description, but it is not a smart AC. They also use <48dB in their advertising under the caption of "Quiet" - that means *greater than* 48db. Basically, this product description is particularly set up to catch people who are purchasing quickly and then don't want to deal with returning a heavy item. Proceed with caution. The window boards are awkwardly sized. I have a pretty standard size window for the US (26 inches), and one board is too small but too boards will not work without cutting one. The quick start directions do not include sufficient info on how to install in your window. It jumps straight to "install in window" but there's a random piece you need to do so that's tucked in one of the bags. It's LOUD - like I don't think I can take work calls while it's running level of loud. My app clocked it at 59-61db, even in night time mode. Energy guide sticker estimates yearly energy cost at $123, which is higher than others I've seen. Basically, I am so pissed off at how misleading this product profile is framed as that even without knowing if it can cool the space I need it to cool I'm considering returning it.

Cold As Ice
This unit performs amazingly. My previous AC was a window model "rightsized" for my 500 sq ft basement bedroom. And it failed miserably. This thing is a beast by comparison, but it purrs like a kitten. Very little noise so it is easy on the ears to leave on all night. It gets my room down to 62 degrees in only a couple of hours and then keeps it that way. My very highest recommendation goes with this unit. Setup was a breeze and it does a good job of circulating air around the room without creating a draft. No worries about water drainage inside either. Whatever water it is making goes right out with the exhaust. The wheels make it easy to move on my LVP flooring... no worries about the weight.

---Great so far, No on-off motors!
This is my 4th portable AC in my life... This one is different... My last one died and wee were going to have 90 degree weather in two days, so I went on Amazon in a panic and couldn't find my usual companies I rely on... But this one came up with two day delivery... Skeptical for sure, but I remembered my latest microwave was 'inverter' and it worked much better than clicking on and off over time... Make a long story short - This thing is the quietest AC unit I've ever had. And it cools my room real quick. Also, it goes down to 61 degrees, where my others SAY 65 but never get there (I like to sleep COLD)... The sound level reminds me of a trash truck driving down the street a block or so away... NO clicking on and off with BRRRRRR of the condenser....!! I see reviews of it dying over a short time, so I'll update here if that happens.... Best AC yet (So far).

Best portable A/C I have used yet!
Got this to replace another portable A/C unit (brand "H"), approx. same BTU which did not cool well at all and only lasted about 3 seasons before the compressor gave out. Application is for a windowless, two-car, enclosed garage, where I have a workbench set up and use it to take the edge off the heat in summer when I am out there with my tools working on projects. Not an easy install in a windowless, brick garage. I manage by punching a hole in wall for the exhaust vent and installing a screened vent outside, sheet metal exhaust in the wall and fabricating an exhaust hose coupler for the portable unit to connect to. When the old unit failed, this new one, almost exactly mated up to the exhaust interface from the unit (major factor in mu decision to purchase it). Install was straightforward and I have to say -- this unit is far superior to the old unit in terms of the efficiency (a challenge for exhaust vent only portables), amount of air it moves and overall build quality and features. And it was less $$$ than the previous unit that failed. Well thought out design, stout engineering, actual readable manual. Do not be put off by the no-name brand ("Humhold") -- it is a decently put together unit. Definitely cools the garage well enough (does not chill but definitely makes it comfortable enough to work in -- mid-low 80's). Only gripe is the location of the filters, difficult to get to and re-attach (but that seems to be the case with all portable A/C units in this BTU range). Will keep in clean and hope for the best. Note that these units can NOT be repaired if they fail, they are basically disposable (ask any HVAC tech). As such, if I get 5 years, I will feel like I got my money's worth.

Wonderful.
Easy to install and fit my small window perfectly. So far it's working fantastic and cools my room quickly. The remote is pretty awesome too. I was not expecting something this nice for the price. Not very noisy as well.
