Perfect for high waste load shallow tanks. I use it in my iguana’s pond. When combined with sludge remover and filter changes every 3-4 days the pond stayed clear for a couple weeks. Sounds like it doesn’t actually work, but compared to daily filter changes and 2-3 full cleanings a week this filter cut my workload in half while providing a very clean pond for my iguana. Highly recommend.

I've had this filter for about year an a half now . My African side neck turtle ( Bowser) is in a 75 gallon tank . With this filter . It's an amazing filter . I paired it with a bubbler on other side of tank to push water to the filter. But it cleans great. not noisy at all not like my other tank . Filters are easy to change. I do have one issue that's why only 4 stars .I've had to put a bridge underneath to help support the weight of it . It pushes a lot of water when it's plugged in causing the suction cups to not really work because the weight of the water flow . Like I said though I just put a turtle bridge underneath it and suctioned the cups to the side and still working perfectly fine .. hasn't moved or came unsucktioned since .

Great until you have to clean the propeller of debris. Then the propeller won’t work as the stem holding the propeller is plastic and bends easily. Filters are ok but not sure what the beads do as they are in front and the propeller is at the the bottom. Doesn’t keep the water clean for more than a couple days. May be ok for fish but not enough for turtles. Wish I could return but I’ve had it for a month.
