TecUnite 85 Pcs Universal Zipper Repair Kit with Sliders Replacement Zipper

I tried this repair kit on two items. The replacment zippers are impossible to start over the material on the top. If you make the zipper opening larger it will not connect the teeth to make the zipper work. I have had to throw away both items it tried to fix with this kit. I am throwing this worthless kit away too. This is an update from my previous rating. This seller reached out to me and offered a replacement product of my choice. I ordered parchment liners. They arrived quickley and are perfect for lining cake pans and baking sheets. I highly recommend them. I am giving 5 stars for the wonderful customer service and the replacement product they sent.

No size numbers stamped on zipper sliders, The #8 is identical in size to retail jacket size #5 zippers so easily confused or wrong size used. A diagram came with package but is easily overlooked and not enough stoppers given, they really couldn't have cost much so some extras would have been nice - small and easy to loose and not all that easy to install accurately unless you have some experience or practice, not a difficult task but they are tiny and difficult to manipulate with larger fingers. This is a nice product for the price.

**ALERT: these do not come with directions. You either need to already know how to use them or you can check out YouTube for DIY videos.** Where I live we get maybe a month's worth of use out of a winter coat and I broke the zipper on mine last year. I just could not bring myself to buy another coat because of how little it gets used and it was perfectly fine other than the zipper. My mom is super crafty and she was going to fix it for me but when she saw it she knew she did not have the pieces she needed. I didn't know that these pieces could be replaced and learning that I thought it would be better to have some spares laying around since zippers are usually what goes on my bags and clothes so I purchased this set of various zipper replacement parts. This zipper replacement kits comes with 3 different sizes of zippers in black and silver plus bottom and top stoppers in various sizes. It also comes with a pair of pliers. All of the hardware was in a single ziplock bag, which doesn't bother me since it was all going to go into the bottom of a drawer anyways. The pliers have a cone-shaped bag over the head to help protect it and keep the oils on it so they do not rust. My mom was able to fix my coat and said that it was pretty easy. It zips up and down just fine now though it is currently in the 100's at the moment so I am not going to give it a good wear for a while. I have a purse and a hoodie that I am going to get her to fix next. I am happy to know that these items can be fixed. Please check your sizing before ordering. I would also highly suggest checking out some videos on YT if this will be your first replacement to ensure you are getting the right sizes and that it is something you feel you are capable of doing.

Tried this on two different sweatshirts with broken zippers. The general fit seemed right, so it looks like I ordered the right size (as measured per instructions). My first try was plastic zipper and the new pull just would not engage the teeth correctly. Second try was weird because the new zipper pull would only align if placed backward (facing in) on the sweatshirt. So... kinda worked but not really easy to zipper from the inside of the clothing. On the plus side there are lots of zippers in the package in two different sizes and a mix of two color options. So, I will have other chances to try this on a bunch of different tries.

It doesn’t fit. I don’t like it. When i put it on the zipper wont close . When try i try to return it you have to pay for the shipping. It useless. I shouldn’t buy it. I should give zero star

I like this repair zippers because I can fix things that need to be fixed on my clothes. I appreciate the Ernesti of making a little a priority to send them the next day. I appreciate that and again thank you for having us on Amazon.

Hello everyone, I found the ecUnite 85 Pieces Zipper Repair Kit with Nylon Zipper Pull Replacement to be very useful for my needs. At first, I did have a hard time using it, but I was determined to make it work. When I contacted an upholstery service to get a zipper replaced, they quoted me $150, which seems excessive compared to this kit costing only around $8. You can definitely manage this repair on your own!

Zippers are cheap and break really easily. Go to your local dry cleaners and ask were they buy there zippers and pulls from. If you cant buy direct I'm sure the owner wouldn't have a problem placing the order for you.

I tried these on 3 different zips, none fit. They don't align properly. Don't waste your hard earned money on these.

The metal is low quality and the tab bent while installing first zipper, not going to use it as i feel it will just break and have to fix again soon.. when I tested strength of other zipper it broke in two pieces.

Cannot imagine where are all the good comments come from? So cheap and so bad quality, and cannot qualified for return! So think more than twice before you purchase this
