Very good flavor. This mix cooks on stove top or in a thermos for easy meal prep. You can add sautéed onions and garlic, extra beans and some cooked sausage to give it extra protein and bulk. The price is fair $1.87 these were .75 a couple years ago but for now that’s not a bad price. If you need a shelf stable option for sausage fry Old Wisconsin brand Beef Sausage for $5.79 it doesn’t need refrigerated unless it’s opened and unused. Otherwise it’s safe to keep until needed. You can prep this in your thermos, add the cut up sausage seal it and have a ready meal in a few hours. For versatility, ease of use, texture, taste, rice quality I recommend it!

Love Zataran's! I just wish Amazon would stop packaging in with heavier products because the boxes were squished and not first time. 5lbs peanut butter and large can Cocoa pulverized but, the wax paper bags held up.

Excellent choice for a New Orleans meal night . Fast and easy one pot meal. Has the long grain rice with traditional seasonings of New Orleans Jambalaya. Just add your choice of meat. If you're vegetarian add fresh vegetables to it. Especially great is no MSG Added ‼️I add mango sausage and shrimp.You can add anything you want to it.I have used this brand before and in my experience it's delicious. So, I highly recommend!!

So good especially in a pack of 12. Tastes yummy and so easy to cook. Add some shrimp, chorizo even veggies to raise it to the next level.

This is a quick and convenient pantry staple. I can make a one pot meal that's filling and affordable by adding andouille sausage, chicken, onions and mixed vegetables. If you want it to be spicier, you can add the hot sauce of your choice.

Made it with chicken, chorizo, smoked sausage, onion, red pepper and spring onion. Hands down everyone loved it and nothing left to throw away. Will be making it again. Very tasty and easy to make
