It is mostly onion, paprika and cumin and tastes similar to some Mediterranean seasonings I have used. I think that it is bright and fresh tasting. The chicken was being put on top of a prepackaged asian salad so we did some of the chicken with this spice and some of it with a hoisin marinade. We were split between us as to which one we preferred. My husband preferred the hoisin but absolutely loved the Turkish spice. This seasoning mix uses all the spices we normally use in our dishes with the exception of Sumac, which I had to do a bit of research on because I had never used it before. A quick look at the store page for this product and I saw several seasonings and toppings that I would be interested in trying.
