EXCELLENT, exactly what I wanted, well worth the money.
Lovely material. Lace at the hem. Elastic waist, not too narrow and not too wide. I'm sure young people could wear this as a skirt because it's such good quality. It is as described in the gumph. I bought it a little bit too big because I can't bear anything tight around my waist. If you have skirts that would benefit from an inset petticoat, this would be ideal. I would happily buy more. Easy to wash ~ throw it into the washing machine @30°C, hang it up overnight and it's ready to wear the next morning.

Beware - NON RETURNABLE ITEM
The slip fabric feels like satin with a sheen, little heavier than my other slips and not see through which was great but a little static. I am a 8-10 UK size and find this a little loose for me so needed to return it. Upon going through the process it stated it was an "UNRETUNABLE ITEM" I was within the date so couldn't understand why. A chat to Amazon customer service informed me that this item was classified as "feminine item" and due to hygiene reasons etc but it is NOT knickers/briefs it is a SLIP SKIRT!!! Regardless it was NOT made clear on their sales advertised details that buyers were unable to return it, if I was aware of this prior to purchasing, I would've NOT bought it and looked elsewhere! If you are a petite size DO NOT BUY.

Feminine and practical
As a woman of the 70s and 80s I have a preference for wearing skirts daily and always prefer an underskirt as most nowadays are unlined. This is a practical everyday underskirt, perfect length for midi skirts for me as a 5`11" woman and the lace adds a element of femininity that I like.

very very tight elastic
this half slip is nice, BUT the elastic at the waist measures ONLY 26 in. I ordered a medium because the description said: waist 30/31 in order to be able to wear it I had to cut the elastics on each side, they seem to go crazy with tight elastics!

Very pretty, well made, but size up.
This slip is lovely. I sized up because most posters said it runs small. Sizing up was a good idea and the size up fit well, though I could have gone a size down since I am between an M & L in US sizes. I got the XL and it fits comfortably. I am 160 5'9". The waist band is wide and lays flat nicely and is comfortable - no binding - very nice. The material is very pretty and the slip nicely made. I am very pleased with this product.
