My Doctor told me I should consume 1000 mg of DHA daily. I searched Amazon and actually bought another brand first that were huge pills and I had to take 3 a day to get 900 DHA in a day. Then I found the GNC Mini's. I bought a bottle. I have NO PROBLEM swallowing them They are so small by comparison to the other ones and you only have to take 2 pills daily to get the 1000 mg. I just ordered 2 more bottles because they had a special - buy one and get 50% off the 2nd bottle. I could not be happier with these pills.

Largest amount of DHA in smallest capsule I can find
Much easier to swallow than normal sized fish oil capsules and contains the same amount of DHA. Still not small enough for my 10-yr-old to swallow, but it's much more manageable for me, which means I actually take it.

DHA: What your brain wants and needs.
My Mom suffered with dementia for the last several years of her life. Consequently, I constantly research what nutrients the brain can use that may help me avoid or at least perhaps minimize cognitive issues as I grow older. One of these nutrients that has been researched and shows value is DHA from Omega3. Regular fishoil capsules are a mixture of EPA and DHA. Usually, the amount of EPA is 2-3 times the amount of DHA in "regular" fishoil/Omega3 capsules. However, our brains need DHA more than EPA. Consequently, I supplement with these high potency DHA capsules which provide what the brain really needs. I can't say for sure but, after using these for awhile (4-5 weeks) my mind seems to be "calmer" and my recall seems to be somewhat enhanced. The price of these capsules is very competitive especially compared to others on the market of the same potency.

Too hard to swallow
I bought these just for the fact that they said โmini gelsโ. Well, Iโve been taking supplements for over 30 years and these are not mini. They are larger and rounded in the middle so they get stuck in my throat and I have choked on them and wasted my money on these. Looking for another brand now.
