Levi's Boys' 527 Bootcut Jeans

I love these jeans for my boys, ages 11, 10 and 7. We're not into the skinny jeans look for boys, and it can be hard to find more traditional looking jeans that still look nice enough to wear to school competitions or church. These fit my kids great--they are all of average build but maybe a teensy-bit on the tall side. They look great with their cowboy boots but also look fine with tennis shoes. They hold up pretty well, and I've even been able to pass them on to the next boy down after they grow out of them...a rarity in jeans for active country boys! My boys wear these and Wranglers religiously, but I find that these look nicer than Wranglers and hold their color better. They are also softer for any kiddos who have problems with that.

I was so glad to find these pants. To be honest, these are for my husband who wears a 33 x 28 levis bootcut. They simply don't make these in the men's size but to be honest, the boys size 14 Husky 527s fit perfect. So far, Amazon is the only place I have been able to find the right size. The size seems to vary even though all the stores will say, size 14 husky Levis, usually the waist is only around a 29". Just wish I could find some pairs in the regular blue denim color without the gold undertones of the Rusted Rigid or the more faded look of these.

I ordered three pairs of these for my son. Two of the pairs had pockets that were very shallow, the third had normal depth pockets. Other than that, they are nice looking jeans that fit over boots and basketball shoes.

Hallelujah! Jeans that fit over my sons ghetto booty!!! We have tried on countless jeans, and 9.99999 times out of 10 he can't pull he up over his booty. Whether they are regular or husky. After reading these reviews that these jeans run large, I chose to get them in an 8H. My some wears a 10 in most other clothes. They are plenty long and slid up over his rear and buttoned! I'm so excited. They are good quality denim that is thick, but not the super stiff and thick denim out there.My son normally wears a 10, and is 8 years old, 91 pounds, 29" waist (measuring tape loose and level with navel), hips/booty measure 32" at widest point (tape not pulled tight) and about 54" tall.I most certainly will buy more!

These are a smaller cut than the levis 501s but I ordered the same size as the 501s and I am pleased. The 501s are much roomier - these provide a more fitted look but a far cry from skinny jeans.Update:My son lost a lot of weight and I ordered a smaller size. The waist band actually measures 4" larger than the advertised waist size and they are falling off of him. Other than that these are still awesome looking jeans. I will try ordering a smaller size again.

What the title say.It's 27x27 size for 14 reg fit. Good for a short man. Or a teenager. Shrug.Edit: 10/27/11I wore it for class today. Not fun at all. The belt handler (???) on the back of the jean makes a knot, and whenever I walk or lean back with my backpack, it's like a ball in my back of the waist is hitting against my backpack. It's very annoying and sorta painful after a 4-5 hours. I actually don't recommend unless they make it reduce the belt area (thingy?) so it doesn't produce a hard knot that can annoy people.

My son loves these jeans and they fit his slim little body perfectly. I was worried about the "loose fit" since he's pretty skinny and hard to fit, but these were perfect. The wider leg at the bottom isn't really that noticeable like the picture but do make him look a little less skinny. These are his favorite jeans.From the beginning, the button was not difficult and he had no trouble with the zipper. I should have ordered a couple more pair... I probably will.

These are nice Levi's and my son loves them. The problem is this time around, they ran small. He has size 14 husky and that is the size I bought them in, but they weren't even close to fitting. This is so typical of Levi though. Same brand, color and size and way different fits. That being said, the seller did lightening fast easy exchanges and we bought them in husky size 16 and they work great! This is why there are 3 stars instead of 5. On my other review I gave them a 5 since the 16 husky fit and the seller was great at exchanging and returning. These jeans do hold up well and wash well too. We farm and needless to say my son wears jeans daily and is hard on them. He generally outgrows them before them wearing out. And being they are only like $21 you can't beat the price.
