Sturdy and well made without being too heavy. Made a huge difference in our dining room and we LOVE it! We added two side chairs and two benches to get the look that we wanted. The table top is three long pieces that fit together (not shown in the product images). Fairly easy to assemble and packaged well (no dings or scratches). We bought the 35x72. I contacted amazon and they did correct the description, but this table will be destroyed by my children in 6 months time with a pine table top.
