Pretty good. I was a messy person when I bought this and left it on all day, all night for like a whole year. The bulb did eventually burn out, but if I cleaned up the place a bit, I wouldn't have needed to leave it constantly on. I recently saw a lil fruit fly the other day and considered re-ordering this item - I still have the replacement glue board thingys. But the 28 dollar price tag convinced me to bleach the countertops instead. If that doesn't work to my satisfaction, I will get this again.

We have used a couple of these amazing hardworking bug catcher in our FL home to trap annoying & dangerous disease-carrying mosquitos, along with other flying creatures, for almost 1-1/2 yrs now, as I have always attracted mosquitoes. They used to attack me royally if I sat in the dark to read news on my iPhone—after turning off the TV—drawn in by my phone’s light. So I knew this system would work..and boy—does it! Those sticky boards are FILLED after 4-6 wks during our muggy-buggy months! Utterly THRILLED to no longer be covered with big, itchy, red bumps all over anymore!!! The 9w, 6X23 socket, UV blacklight bulbs will eventually burn out after 4-16mns—(esp if dropped/knocked into,…) when they are on consistently…which IS advised, as they work great during the day too! JUST replaced both glue boards 30 mins ago (bright late morning with all the kitchen lights on too) & counted SEVEN various types of bugs already on them! Keep a small box of #21050 replacement bulbs (on Amazon) rubber-banded with your replacement glue cards so your trap(s) can keep effectively working to protect you & your home!

Works well and very easy to use. Just plug it in and leave it on. It runs quietly and I can see it catching mosquitoes after a few days. No smell and safe for indoor use. Only downside is it needs to stay plugged in all the time and is not very portable. Overall good value for the price.

This product is good for (in my opinion) people that live where the climate is dry most of the time. I’m in San Antonio and we have a ton of flies and mosquitos and I mean a ton. My glue board gets filled up within 3-4 days. I’m going through glue boards like crazy. In my opinion, I need something that’s a little bit more than a glue board like maybe some kind of zapper is probably my best bet but if you don’t have that many flies and mosquitoes in your area, then this is a good buy for you cause I love it. I just wish you would less longer than two or three days for me even with my doorstep. It’s just crazy how they get into the house, but this is a good item. It’s good price. I am happy that it’s not for me.

I bought two of these for use as a combination night light and moth trap. Although they stay on during the day, they function well as night lights. Unfortunately, they are not effective moth traps. The one in the living room has trapped only about a dozen moths in several weeks, and the one outside the pantry has trapped only a couple of dozen. Both, however, have trapped many approximately 1/8th inch long, black, hard-shelled bugs that have not been trapped by several other kinds of flying insect traps. The one in the living room has trapped several dozen, and the one outside the pantry hundreds. VERY STRANGE!

Best insect traps for the money in my opinion, these work great. I’ve tried the zevo ones and the other “known name brand” ones and these are much better. I’m sure it has to do with the actual color/temperature of the bulb itself. Also, wide note, the replacement sticky paper works great to catch gnats in any potted plants in the house. Just put the sticky paper on top of the soil in the pot and you’ll be surprised how many it will catch

Avoid this product. Bulb burnt out within four months of purchase. The item worked when it worked, but after bulb burnt out all the replacement bulbs get bad reviews with product length of life and some reporting bulb getting hot.

This flying insect trap works really well indoors! It is easy to use, quiet, and has a modern design that looks nice in the house. I noticed fewer flies and mosquitoes after using it for a short time. I also like that it is safe and clean compared to sprays. Great product for keeping bugs away!

Plugged in, went bang. Supplier tells me was my fault for ordering from a country with different electrical system despite being ordered via Singapore website. First and last time from this company.

This bug trap mostly attracts bugs to where the light shines, and is ineffective at drawing moths to the sticky paper. My advice is to buy a much more effective bug zapper for less money. Plus, this item has a very difficult return experience. You get a return shipping label where you pay for shipping to Las Vegas, which is refunded when asked; however, I was told their 'system' would only allow a partial refund for my purchase. This was not the no-hassle Amazon experience I grew accustomed to.
