My wife bought one of these and it worked perfectly. Ran a nice high charge through the type C port and charged up my phone quickly. So I got one for my car and I've also had great results. Make sure to use it with a good quality cord so you get the maximum benefit from the high speed charging. I like the way it snugs into the 12v port without a lot sticking out, but is plenty easy to pull out when I need to. Zero complaints about the design or the function. I've used it for a while and it's showing no wear.

I’ve been using this Anker car charger (cigarette lighter to USB) for about 7 months now, and it has been reliable. It’s not the fastest charger out there, but it works consistently. For reference, it takes around 2 hours to fully charge my 4500mAh phone battery, which is reasonable for regular use in the car. The build quality is solid, as expected from Anker. It feels well-made and doesn’t feel cheap at all. It fits snugly in the socket and hasn’t had any connection issues. Overall, a dependable option if you’re looking for a basic car charger that works without problems, even if it’s not the fastest charging speed available.

Sure I can charge my phone with the USB outlets or inductive charging pad in my car, but those charge really slow. This is a great solution for when you need faster charging of your phone than what your car provides. I had an old charger that was flush with the 12V plug, and it was hard to remove because there was very little to grab to pull it out. This one is a bit longer so sticks out of the plug just enough to help remove it, but not too much that it is in the way. I have bought many Anker products and have always been happy with them, add this one to that list.

It was recommended to power a certain qi2 ready phone charger i use and the one I had before was inadequate. Something about voltage I guess. But think device is small so it doesn't stick out much to see and takes a bit of a pull to get it out if you wanted to replace the socket with something else. Anker has been known to make a range of products so their brand is well known but quality control has been known to suffer so it's a chance you might get a defective item once in a while. I have the portable battery, portable speakers, and this one right here have been working good but had one that wasn't so good but they reached out to me and offered to replace it or get a refund. I think that deserves a comment that they want customer satisfaction and own up to their mistakes if you give them a chance.
