I had a fault (within 2 weeks of the end of the 2 Year guarantee) with my device and the company replaced it upon return with the upgraded version of the device. I have coarse thick hair and this device is amazing. Normally I would shave my legs every day in the summer but with this product I only need to top up with shaving between treatments once every 2-3 weeks.

I have an IPL from another manufacturer and this was the perfect opportunity to compare and contrast. This offering is considerably less bulky than my other machine which pleasantly surprised me. It also automatically sets the strength of the light by your skin tone. It is very easy to set up and use - I love the way you can glide it across your skin when treating larger areas (e.g. legs) which cuts down on treatment time. It is moulded to make it easy to hold and it isn't too heavy. I cannot make any claims as to its long term effectiveness at reducing hair regrowth yet but I will certainly be using it regularly to try and assess its impact. It is certainly easier to use than my old IPL machine.

this device is not recommended for those with red, light blonde, or white/grey hair. It's also not advised for those with darker skin tones I removed a star as this device is expensive, and is limited in terms of who it will work for. Another niggle I'm having is because you use this over shaved skin, you can't tell which spots you may have missed - I had to wait a week or so for the now-very fine hairs to grow back, then shave them, retreat the area and then restart the whole wait-shave-repeat process again. _ [I'll update this review after the 12 week treatment has completed]

Good results After three uses I can notice a difference, I am not suffering with as many in grown hairs on my legs in particular. The best routine, I have found, is to shower, shave and pat dry, then use this. I found this after I did a bit of reading up as I was a little unsure about this at first. It's painless and the muse has unlimited light bursts so you wont have to replace the unit in a hurry. Its comfortable to use and is inoffensive to look at but you do need to get into a rhythm with the routine and keep maintaining it to make a big difference In time, it will pay for itself

Having tried a cheaper brand before, this one knocks my socks off. It takes most of the work out of doing this for you. Cheaper models have more of the responsibility of getting it right, on you. This one does it all for you, aside from actually holding it onto your skin. Used correctly this should set your legs free all year round! And at much less risk of burning yourself.
