I bought this door chime for my parents who live in an independent/assisted living. They needed some way to ensure caregivers could still access the room at night if needed, but that they wouldn't awake scared because someone was in the room. This is perfect! The chime has lots of different sounds to choose from and you can adjust the volume. My parents can hear it but their neighbors can't. I love that it turns off and on easily with a toggle switch on the door piece too. That way if you're coming and going when one of them is napping and the other is awake, you can just turn it off. It's given them such peace of mind knowing they will know when someone comes in the room. Caregivers have commented on it too - it's great!

Was pleasantly surprised how easy these are to install! They work very well. We plug the ring into our room and it dings when the door has been opened in another room. Great for toddlers. Thankful we didn’t have to drill holes in the door or wall

Works great. The receiver is in our bedroom and we can hear it with know problem when we are asleep. It has eased our mind, my father in law has Alzheimer's and would go outside at night due to sun downing and get confused. Now my husband is able to get to him quickly.

This gives me security knowing that if someone opened the door I would hear it. My only gripe is that it randomly goes off, usually in the middle of the night. I cannot figure out why. It isn't windy, the door didn't fly open, nor anything else. I make sure the doors are shut tight and locked, yet it still goes off. Which isn't good when a person cannot get back to sleep wondering why it went off. I do appreciate the volume, the size, and how easy it is to install. I do feel it worth the value for the money.
